I reached out to roughly six different fencing companies. All of which provided me a quote of around $5,000-$6,000 which is what we were expecting. I reached out to Chuck who provided me with an astronomical quote of almost $13,000! Please keep in mind that we are looking for a very basic Cedar dog eared fence. Our yard would require around 23 fence panels which are roughly $100 a piece. So we could expect to pay $3,000 at most for the fencing panels and posts. That leaves us with Chuck charging us with $9,000 in labor.... FOR A FENCE! I was extremely disappointed, I feel like Chuck threw an arbitrary

Our yard was a steep downward grade across 96 feet; rocky, buckthorns everywhere. Unmaintained landscape from the previous owner. A real mess. Chuck managed to install created a gorgeous (work of art) fence.
Chuck even took time out of his day to help me clear massive mature buckthorns so the fence was easily maintainable from both sides.

We moved into a new house with a large back yard in August and we wanted a fence before winter set in and Chuck delivered! He custom built 400+ feet of 4 foot tall western red cedar fence with the modern, horizontal picket style I wanted and the results are beautiful. Throughout the whole process, Chuck answered my many questions, carefully listened to my suggestions about the fence design as he was in the process of building it and always showed up to do work when he told me he would be arriving. I used Chuck's to put a gate across my driveway to finish fencing my yard. The gate looks amazing and my dogs are so happy they get to run free in our yard! They gave the best quote and were able to get the job scheduled in late fall when a lot of us procrastinators are trying to get this type of work done! I couldn't be happier!

Chuck installed 2 gates for us. It took a while to complete the project due to starting in winter and scheduling around inclement weather. We are very satisfied with the results. He built the gates on site, using high quality materials for both the boards and hinges. Another contractor (concrete) was so impressed he asked for Chuck's contact info!

I stumbled upon chucks fence here on yelp. Decided to give him a call based on all positive reviews. I decided to hire him to build my 6 ft privacy fence in my back yard.
I am super pleased at how smooth everything went. The install was fast and any questions I had about anything were explained so that I could understand.
I had concerns of an area in my yard that gets a ton of water as I am on the bottom of a hill.. extra depth on some post holes with rebar and extra concrete was added where needed.
Last, chucks prices are very very good.. he will go above and beyond to get the job done

Chuck was very responsive, we came up with the best plan for the fence, and he was able to do the job, start to finish in less than a week...in the winter! Most of the bigger companies don't even work over the winter months. The best part, is that the fence is beautiful, and really well made. Chuck did a wonderful job, and I would definitely recommend his company.
