Chad is passionate about every aspect of home design. He began his formal design education as an architecture student and soon realized that he wanted to focus on home decor products and interior design. Chad graduated with a degree in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois and spent many years designing and developing products for the world's leading wholesalers, retailers, and manufacturers.
In 2011 he started CHAD ESSLINGER DESIGN, a full-service design firm focusing on residential interior design, remodeling, and home decor. Chad loves partnering with homeowners to create beautiful and functional living spaces. Chad helps clients with everything from picking out paint colors to building homes.

Chad Esslinger helped us redecorate our family room. He helped us decide on a wall color, carpet, and all the furniture and decorative touches to go along with the new look. While working with Chad, he provided many options and made the process very easy. The room is absolutely what I was hoping for and we continue to receive compliments on the new look!

We used Chad Esslinger Design initially to update our family room, Chad came in to meet with us, got a sense of our style, our expectations for the project and to see the space. After our initial meeting, Chad sent us over some plans including design, furniture and decorative options. Chad was very open to our questions, ideas and feedback during the design process. As we moved into the construction phase, Chad was just as engaged throughout the construction process and came in to meet with the contractors about design questions and to trouble shoot any challenges. After construction was complete

Chad was amazing to work with! We were doing our basement bar and bathroom and needed help with picking out color schemes and designs. Chad had great ideas and helped pull everything together! He's super responsive and has a lot of great connections too. He was such a pleasure to work with! We will definitely be working with him in the future on any home projects we have!

Chad was great to work with. We wanted to spruce up the entire house and get it ready to have a more cohesive flow. Chad listened to everything we said, and ran away with it. He was interested in our opinions, offered a variety of solutions and was conscious with our budget. The house is always a work in process, but now it feels more complete. When we decide to do more, he will be our first call. Thank you for making our house more of a home!

I have worked with Chad on renovations at my company for the past several years. He has an excellent eye for design, is very responsive and was able to work within our budget. Chad also was able to provide a photo layout of how the proposed colors and design would look in the actual space - which was very helpful when making design decisions.

I couldn't have survived my kitchen remodel without Chad! His advice, expertise, and great style were invaluable. He was also patient and encouraging with all of the inevitable delays, frustrations, and headaches that come with a full kitchen and bath remodel. Chad was professional, quick to respond to any and all communication, and a pleasure to work with. My only regret is not having more spaces to remodel and more design projects to tackle!
