I bought two truly beautiful Persian carpets at Adib's, my favorite a rare all-silk Kashan that was so magical I had to have it.
Persian carpets are art pieces but art you live with. And because of their beauty, you might be intimidated to simply walk on them. Even in a shoe-less house.
Just remind yourself of the parties these beauties have seen, the everyday living for many years or even decades. They're not fragile. Mine is over 120 years old and it remains a stunning jewel.
And thank goodness Adib's has expert cleaning and restoration services: After my cat knocked over

After going to pottery barn and restoration hardware I realized I wanted something more high quality and handmade. After doing some research and seeing their great reviews I came here. I wanted something a bit more muted and modern. The rugs are beautiful and very high quality. The staff was very kind and helpful and they had a great selection. I was so happy with the end result, and how beautiful it looks in my living room.

We have been working with Ray and Medi Adib for a few weeks now in helping us finding the perfect rug. They have been super patient with helping us narrow it down to a few rugs over emails :) they were able to bring the 5 rugs we were choosing between directly to our home to see it in the home first. They even came back with the padding afterwards. We are very happy!

We just purchased our first Persian rug from Adib’s, and the experience was incredible. Each person we worked with was helpful and knowledgeable. We didn’t feel pressured into buying anything, and they brought 2 rugs to our home for free to view for a few days before we purchased so that we could see how they fit in the room. I did a lot of research on where to have our rugs washed and found Adib's to have the best service and price. They were very kind and helpful. The rug was returned to us in about a week and it feels as if its brand new again. Our rug is round and they were able to custom cut a pad for is. The pad gives the rug a nice cushion and makes it very secured to the ground, previously it would get kicked up often. Great family business, I highly recommend.

I was searching for a Persian rug for my office and didn't find anything in the Peninsula. Saw some good reviews for Adib's and their inventory just put all the other stores to shame. They were all very respectful with wearing masks and sanitizing the pens and payment screen. Pretty awesome he has been in the Bay Area for 50 years and his inventory shows. I'm so happy with my new rug, they worked with me to find the perfect fit. Not pushy at all and genuine people.

Not only did i find the perfect rug to make my work from home station even more comfortable, the quality is superb and even after a couple months, i already can't imagine my home without this amazing piece in it! Staff very helpful in selecting 3 Persian rugs for a hallway in our house. They even let us borrow the rugs for the weekend to see if we liked them. I just picked up a Moroccan carpet I had cleaned at Adib's. The cleaning job they did was excellent and they also complementary helped with a small repair on it. But the real reason why I went to Yelp is because they also help a nearby homeless man by feeding him soup daily. When I moved to Lafayette 15 years ago, I purchased a home that had a very large great room. The prior owner offered to sell the beautiful Persian rug he had purchased from Adib's, and I bought it. In the years I was in this home, I had the rug repaired once at Adibs, and washed 3 times by Adib's. Pick up and delivery; excellent service. When I downsized, Adib's took the Persian rug on consignment. I've used Adib's for 20+ years and I could not be happier with the quality of product and service. Ray will take as much time as you feel comfortable with. If you have a general idea and price range of what you're looking for, they always have several rugs that fit the bill in stock. If you're unhappy with a previous purchase you can bring it in and he'll help you swap it with something that works for you. These rugs are gorgeous and have improved the quality of my home significantly, would highly recommend Adib's.

Ray Adib was a pleasure to work with. We brought in our rugs for long needed wash and some work needed to be done on the edges. I had priced a few places and Adib's was by far the best for a place that specializes in hand woven rugs and has a good reputation. We had some stains I was convinced would not come out but the rugs came out as if they were brand new!
While in there I decided to take a look at some rugs for our hallway and Ray found some great options. He delivered them for us and set them up and everything. Very low pressure sales and he genuinely wants to help.

I recently had my beautiful Persian Rug cleaned and repaired by Adib's... I had purchased it there about 10 years ago and it had some rodent damage and was very dirty. The gentlemen that picked up and the rug were great! They were polite and quick... when I got the rug back it looked absolutely gorgeous and almost brand new! The colors were bright and it was so clean. I would definitely purchase another rug from Ray Adib.

Where do I even start? First, I suppose I'll start with what a magnificent job they've done with the Villa. The facade is beautiful and grand, but is nothing compared to the gloriousness inside. When I die, I sure hope that's what heaven looks like. The design, the lighting, the setup, all superbly done, and the inventory is beyond compare!
