Jim Sisk has lived in the Northwest all his life. He began working with hardwood floors while living in the Tri-Cities, Washington. He then moved to the Willamette Valley in 1993 and started his own company. Jim has done many houses in the historic districts of Salem and Silverton and many new construction homes in Dallas and the Salem area.
1 What is the difference between un-finished and pre-finished hardwood flooring? Unfinished offers flexibility of design, color & finish choice. Pre-finished offers speed of use. 2 I have several estimates. Why shouldn't I go with the cheapest estimate? As the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for".

I could not be happier with the work this company did on my home. My wife received a referral and we set things up. They showed up on time, communicated at each step, and their craftmanship is excellent. We were ready to scrap our wood floors, but thought we would try refinishing. We are glad we did. The floor came out so much better than we had expected and at a fraction of the cost of replacing.

I have only given a few reviews...because I don't like to give anything but a top-notch, 5 stars reviews. The work these guys did on our floor was simply amazing!! They were prompt, and professional. They were recommended to me by my realtor. I called Jim on the phone, he sent someone out right away and got started the same day...awesome! They beat everybody's price as well, what an experienced system these guys run, you can tell they've done it for a long time. If you want anything in regard to flooring done for your house here in Salem, I could not imagine a better company than Willamette Valley

I’m so happy!! Jim gets the first gold star for getting my appointment scheduled so quickly! James and Tyler get the rest for being on time, explaining the whole process to me, matching my stain up to the old floors and making my new kitchen floor look amazing! And if I could give a sixth it would be for how nice they were through the whole process. I can’t say enough good things about these guys. I found Willamette Valley Wood Floor Company after doing a web-search. They were the first and the only company that I called. They were responsive (my home was in closing), and we needed immediate work done on a water damaged living room wood floor. Basically, we had 3-4 days to get the work done. The crew (John) came to our house the next day, and in three days the work was done. They did a beautiful job of replacing a few boards, sanding smooth, and sealing. All I can say is give them a call, the pricing is reasonable and the work is fantastic.
