The craftsmanship on our new home was excellent. An attention was placed on each detail of our home. The builders suggestions were helpful, and our home was finished in a time frame that had been promised. The experience of building our home from a distance (we lived in Detroit area while the house was build) was positive and stress free.

Take a look at the transformation of this family cottage in Southwest Michigan! This was an extensive interior update along with an addition to the main building. We worked hard to design the new cottage to feel like it was always meant to be. Our focus was driven around creating a vaulted living space out towards the lake, adding additional sleeping and bathroom, and updating the exterior to give it the look they love!
This quiet condo transitions beautifully from indoor living spaces to outdoor. An open concept layout provides the space necessary when family spends time through the holidays! Light gray interiors and transitional elements create a calming space. White beam details in the tray ceiling and stained beams in the vaulted sunroom bring a warm finish to the home.

DK Homes designed and built us a beautiful custom home. Every step of the process was surprisingly easy. We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience from start to finish, or with our lovely home! DK homes finished our basement for us. We weren't to sure what we wanted and asked the builder to take the lead as to what he thought would work best. We love our new basement! Great craftsmanship especially on the built ins! Everyone was friendly and easy to work with throughout the process.

Our family recently finished a project with DK Homes and have been enjoying the quality and craftsmanship of their work for about 8 months now. This was our second custom build in 4 years, so although by no means experts, we felt prepared for the project. Going into this, based on our first project and what seems to be the “normal pitfalls” of building, we had a natural expectation that we were going to have to stay on top of the budget, schedule, and pay close attention to the details around finish details. Great craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the build process. This was the second custom home my wife and I have built and Jay DeKleine and his team made it our easiest build. Never any drama or surprises. If anytime during the build we had a concern or we're considering a change, the DK team listened and did their best to accommodate us. A new build or remodel can be very stressful, but the DK team worked hard to make the build process enjoyable and when it was over, they handed over to us a well built, beautiful AND clean home. Truly, truly enjoyed working with them.

Hats off to DK Homes! We have been in our new home for 3 months now and LOVE IT! We sold our previous home extremely fast so we were ready to move in a couple weeks sooner then planned (in mid construction of our lower level completion yet.) Jay was awesome letting us move in early. The craftsmanship and unique features of the home are beautiful. Fell in love with the area and the attention to detail in the new development is what sold us! It was a pleasure working with Jay in helping make the initial plans for the lower level design and with Mary helping with design choices. Mary was always easy
