At 1st step we try to concentrate on the needs of the customer. Our standard or basic service will always include a preconditioning and deodorizer. After that the choice is yours. We will recommend what we believe you need to achieve the best cleaning results with a price that is as reasonable as possible up front.
Handmade rugs are valuable pieces of art therefore should be treated with care. Carpet cleaning techniques used for wall to wall carpet (like steam-cleaning) are not recommended for area rug cleaning. More importantly handmade rugs. Avoid dry-cleaning or incorrectly cleaning them yourself. Carpet cleaning products available off-the-shelf at many department stores as this may cause irreversible damage.

Dan was kind enough to fit me in his schedule with very short notice. He did a great job, was prompt, and communicated very well. He even did an extra room that I forgot was carpet, as we are moving in to the home serviced and I was not present at the time of service. I will definitely use 1st Step again!

Exceptional service. From the moment I spoke to Dan and scheduled my appointment to the quality of service. We set an appointment and he arrived early on the scheduled day. He listened to to my concerns while I pointed out what I felt were "trouble spots" in my carpet. He was very persinable and I knew I had made the right choice choosing his company. I will definitely call him again and i will recommend him to all of my peeps that are in need of an honest carpet cleaning company.

OMG...This carpet cleaning company ROCKS!!! I needed my steps cleaned in a hurry. Dan took time out of his busy schedule to come all the way do it, even when I had no appt!!! WHO DOES THAT...DAN the MAN with 1st Step Carpet Care did it!!! I HIGHLY recommend this cleaning company. Not only did he accommodate my needs but he was very polite professional, took his time and he did a fantastic job! I WILL be using them again...and again...and again...

If only I could take 1st Step Carpet Care with me and my family when we move out of Georgia!!! I have had the pleasure of having my carpet cleaned by 1st Step Carpet Care for the past 6 years, and have been extremely satisfied every time!
