They made us feel good about spending the thousands required to get this move done. That right there is not an easy thing to do. We called around and got a general idea of a market price. Shepherd stood out by giving us more information, being confident about their experience, and answering many questions by phone and email. We basically interviewed them for the job and they never once seemed hesitant. I love the fact that they worked with our schedule and we didn't have to try and make way for theirs. Major stress reliever when I found this place. Half the battle for moving is picking a good company to work with. Everything from the communication to the all inclusive rate plan was great.
There are lot of moving parts when you're moving to Europe and things can get confusing fast. It was nice working with Shepherd because they were able explain everything so it was easier to understand. They also emailed us info and repeated a few things when we asked them with any hesitation.
This business took care a lot of extra details that we weren't completely aware of like the forms needed by customs

After I booked my move they began the process right away. Felt nice to have a with packing and someone to handle everything needed for customs. I never put much thought or planning into packing. It's always done when I have free time outside of work. With the moving being to Sydney, Australia I thought it was very important to have packing done correctly. Considering how long all of our boxes and furniture were traveling. Even with the great distance everything still arrived with no damage.

From my first phone to Shepherd to the very last box being placed at our new apartment in Bolanzo ,Italy!! These movers were thorough, organized, and very respectful of our home. Our move was a bit complicated with some the majority of everything being picked up at our place and the rest at a storage facility a mile away. Even with extra effort needed we were never charged anything additional from what was covered. The entire team was very nice to work with and kept us updated throughout the whole transition.Alfredoa

These guys are awesome! ETA from Marietta to Bercy, Paris was 5 weeks but our stuff arrived in just 3 weeks and 4 days! We received quick responses whenever we emailed them and would definitely recommend Shepherd for people moving to Europe. They were easy to work with, movers were very good and estimates were truthful. No hidden fees or terms. These moves are stressful so finding a nice upbeat group of people like these guys really helps out. All around great job.

Every move I've done has been stressful. Working with Shepherd was the first time ever I didn't have any anxiety during the move. They were so organized with customs, packing, all of it. The packing part was huge change of pace. First time I've paid for full service packing and LOVED IT. Packing I think is one of the most stressful parts of moving. I was moving for work and they were paying for. So I definitely did everything I could to make it as easy as possible. Shepherd made the whole transition simple I can't even believe I'm writing about international moving and using the word "simple" but

Hard to compare this move to anything to any other types of moves. I guess you could say it's sort of like an out of state move that lasts much longer. Surprisingly this was smoother than the out state moving experience I had. Shepherd stayed super organized the whole time. From labeling boxes, double checking to make sure we didn't over pack each box, dealing with paperwork for the custom agents and setting up our movers in Peckham, London. They did it all and they didn't break, lose or even dent anything while making it happen. We got lucky finding this place. We crossed our fingers and hoped

I've never been comfortable with having others handle my furniture and personal belongings. It's of course, a necessary part of moving though. In the rare moments when I do let people handle the majority of everything I own I make sure to do tons of research. I study up with calls, emails and online research before giving Shepherd my business. In the end I'm very happy with my decision. This move felt like an unbelievably daunting text. When I started working with Shepherd it became SOOO much easier. I had them help me with packing too. With my last few days of work I swamped with so many deadlines

I really liked Shepherd because it was a different sort of operation than your regular cookie cuter moving company. In my moving history I've always gotten hit with an additional fee. It was either a truck gas fee, or an hourly addition for a 3rd mover. There was always something. With Shepherd I knew exactly what the price was the whole time. They set it up so there was no confusion. Not guessing games or tricks to get me in the door. They were honest hardworking and gave a couple updates each week while my shipment headed to Frankfurt. In short, this was one mover that was actually complete worth

We met a handful of people from the Shepherd team involved but I also wanted to thank the customer service team, who I never got to meet. who was around to answer our questions even at odd hours of the night. Every one did a great job and made us feel comfortable with leaving everything we own in their hands. I can't even imagine how tough things must be on their end to move someone from the states to Berlin. They made it look easy. Thanks for making this all work out.
