Absolutely terrible. My parents had talked to Frank before I had the chance and had explained that the liner needed to be replaced before he'd even come to the house he said he'd come on Monday. Then I had finally got ahold of him, reiterated that I needed the liner of the chimney to be replaced, again said he'd be here by Monday. Sunday he called and said he'd be right over, which was great! We were going to finally have hot water.

Very professional, courteous, expedient, and thorough! They went above and beyond, even with a already booked schedule that day! They addressed the problem, cleaned up, made the repair, and explained in detail what was done, and gave options for maintenance at a later day. Called American Fireplace with an emergency situation. The owner Frank came out immediately. He was professional, kind, and worked very clean. This situation turned out to be a bigger issue than anticipated and have to say he was very fair with what he charged. He was recommended to me from a friend who had been extremely happy with his service. I totally agree with her assessment. Thank you again Frank!!!

We have used American Chimney for 25 years and he has always provided above and beyond service including installing two stoves for us. When installing one stove the previous company did not properly install the liner and it slid out of the chimney into my living room. Frank replaced it at his cost for the material. What business man does that when it wasn't his poor installation? He is always professional and competent and calls to verify everything is ok afterward. Also he is reasonably priced.

Scheduled a chimney clean and wood burning insert removal via telephone first with his wife. Then a day later received a return call from Frank saying the cost would be $295 more since there was a wood insert. Had a very detailed conversation for at least a 10 minute phone call explaining I wanted to remove the insert and get the fireplace cleaned and ready for wood burning again. First Frank said he couldn’t remove the insert. Then he changed his mind and said he would do it . I even told him I would remove the insert before he came, and he said “No. Don’t remove it . The rudest and most unprofessional service provider I have EVER encountered. Showed up early for an appointment that we had waited weeks for even though I confirmed the day before that I would not be home from work until 2pm. Was very rude to my daughter when she answered the door and then refused to do the job. He insisted that our stove was "unsafe" even though we have had it cleaned every year for the past 23 years. Sadly, American Eagle doesn't do cleaning anymore and I had forgotten that I accidentally called this guy 10 years ago with the same horrible experience. You do not want this guy
