(Edited) Used Efficient Air through my home warranty company. Everything was great at first. They came out and replaced a motor that was going out causing a terribly loud noise. The tech explained that the motor was burning itself and the bearings. Unfortunately, within a few short days, a new noise started, even louder than before. So loud we can hear it in the home and it shakes our kitchen through the wall. I live in California and I have a second property in Arizona and doing Buisness with this company has been so easy from last year when they were sent out by my home warranty company so I decided to replace my unit since my compressor was out and was an older unit . Bobby came out and was the 2nd diagnosis from american home shield. The first tech came out from a different company and said nothing was wrong with my AC.
Bobby found the issue within 5 minutes of arriving. Within one week the issue was repaired.
This company, and specifically Bobby are a great resource if your AC is on the fritz.
Would recommend them 110% to anyone needing a repair. Super knowledgable and willing to go the extra mile on communication and quality of work.

We wanted our HVAC serviced prior to the hot summer months. We contacted our home warranty company for service.
American Home Shield dispatched Efficient Air to service our HVAC units on 05/11/20. The technician took a reading on only one of two units, created a service request that he said he'd submit to AHS and he left. He marked the service as complete two days later. He NEVER submitted this work order to the home warranty company! He collected his service fee and left.
Not only did Efficient Air not service both HVAC units, but I've now contacted AHS to send another company to

I would much rather offer a 0-star rating if possible. Let me start off by saying the staff and owner (Oscar Hugo Manzo) at Efficient Air Heating & Cooling are the most incompetent and rude people I've ever come across in a service transaction. Our warranty company sent over a service request for our air conditioner 6/5/2020 to this company. The company contacted us, set an appointment for Tuesday 6/9/2020 and then never showed up. We called them out for an estimate and we're able to come to an agreement on our AC installation. The owner was very helpful in suggesting and explaining to us the unit we needed at the most reasonable price after I had gotten multiple quotes from other companies. Start to finish great experience. Francisco, the service manager, was so friendly and accommodating when setting up a walk through for a new AC install. Albert, Manny, and Jonathan were professional, knowledgeable and made sure the installation was done properly. No one especially in Arizona wants to have issues with the AC. A recent transplant in July, I wanted to get ahead of our AC needs. Home depot was supposed to send someone to check on it but got the 'ol switch n bait' so I looked elsewhere. Spoke to several other companies with great disappointment. Wow, what excellent service, response time and professionalism! I had many a company come work on my old dinosaur unit and it kept breaking down. Then Efficient air came out, figured out that it just wasn't salvageable and that I'd put as much into it, suffered through weeks of no a/c in 120 degree heat waves and now no heating in this winter. Worked on our a/c unit on 5/27/18. "Fixed the issue". Said it was low on Freon and had a slow leak. Fast forward to Friday night (last night!) and it sounded like my air conditioning unit was giving birth to rocks. A noise it was not making before! Called immediately like I was advised to do "should something go wrong anytime in the next 30 days" Left a voicemail. No return call. Called again, just now, still closed. Our AC went out at the end of April. We reached out to our home warranty company who assigned us to Efficient Air. It's true, they are efficient, but that's about it. The came out same day to do the diagnostics which was great. They determined that we needed a new compressor. This is where things went downhill. $590 and 2 days later one of our A/C units is super loud and taking 1hr to cool down our upstairs by 3 degrees. Our downstairs unit is not cooling down at all. It seems like it's circulating the hot air since the temp is going up. Will definitely call them back and give them an ear full when they open.

Efficient air has become our heating an cooling service provider. Over the summer in Arizona our A/C went out. We had another company come out and they couldn't or wouldn't take the tine to figure out the issue. Robert from Efficient air came out and had the matter diagnosed within an hour.

We have a home warranty. The people the warranty company sends out are usually less than competent and don't really care how good their repairs are. Mario from Efficient Air showed a genuine interest in getting my air conditioner fixed for good. After 3 straight summers of the unit breaking down and useless people from the warranty company putting on bandaids, this was very refreshing.
