My husband and I manage several properties around the Memphis area, and Good People is our go-to whenever the need for a locksmith arrives! They are very prompt and polite and their rates are very reasonable and competitive. Should you find yourself in need of a woderful locksmith, don't hestitate to call this company!

Jeremy showed up right on time, was so friendly and polite, explained what happened with my lock and door, and made helpful recommendations, didn't try to sell me anything. I actually plan to call again for more work soon! I wish everyone in my life were so dependable.
Text communication was refreshed right up until my appointment.

My only note: The work van is plain white, probably needs an identifying sign in the future.

EDIT: I had Jeremy back the following week to replace my whole door set! In the time it took to boil water, he was done and I paid through a secure website on my phone

Had a great experience with this company. Called the day before and got a quote and I got an estimated appointment time. They also followed up with text as well. They called before they came and were very pleasant over the phone. You can tell they really enjoy what they do and that's awesome. They completed the request in a timely fashion and even addressed something last minute for me. Our guy was extremely professional, nice, easy to be around. When I moved into my house almost 5 years ago they came on moving day and changed all my locks for me. (See prior review.) So when I came home from being away for the weekend in 2019 and found my front door wide open with no clue why, I decided to call them and get my locks changed again. Good People came right away, checked all my locks for damage, and got me all safe and secure. Now I have a need in my office and called them Friday at 5:00 p.m., and they're scheduled to come at 11:00 today.
They are responsive, reliable, and reasonable!

I needed a spare key for my car , so I went to Yelp looking for a locksmith. Good People was the first one I saw in accordance to the proximity of my residence. Maurico Brown , the locksmith, was honest and transparent with his price quote and even better with his service. Very fast, very efficient and very friendly. Had the spare key made( works great) and text receipt ready in less than fifteen minutes. Highly recommend, will use again if needed . Keep up the Great Work Good People!!!

We called out good people locksmith to help us get a key made for a Truck and they showed up very fast. They handle business and got it taken care of for us and we will most definitely call them again when needed! Thank you!

This weird thing happened. After calling 3 or 4 other locksmiths and getting no response or blown off, I called Good People, and someone answered the phone who was professional, cheerful, and competent. He scheduled a non-emergency appointment for a lock smith to come out to do my work.

But wait! It gets even weirder! At the appointed time, a locksmith shows up at my house (I know, right?). He was polite and friendly. He made sure that he understood what we wanted, and then just went ahead and did it.

All was good, but then it came time to pay, and the fee charged was exactly what was estimated

I filled out the form on Yelp requesting service on Saturday and got a text back within 5 minutes. We setup a time and I got another text telling me who was assigned and his picture. Jeremy was was very knowledgeable and courteous and told me exactly what he'd do to fix my issue. He did a great job and I highly recommend this company. I would definitely call them again.

Called for a quote and Jeremy came out within an hour of calling. He fixed the lock on my security door in a snap and he was careful of my toddlers trying to escape! Their prices are WAY better than 901 Locksmith and Techno Lock Keys. 10/10 would recommend; we will definitely use them again!

I needed a new key for my Jeep. I have dropped my keys enough to the point that the remote on my key no longer worked and it was barely holding onto the key itself. I have a very busy schedule and used Yelp to locate a Locksmithing company that would come to me on a weekend day. Mario communicated with me throughout the day about the situation and set me up the next day to have someone come to my place of work to cut new keys for me. I received a text when Rico when on his his way and he called me as soon as he arrived. Next thing I knew he called back to let me know he was done and had me try

I called them a couple of days ago just to get a quote. Based on the pictures I sent, I got a rough high (which is what I asked for) estimate, but ultimately they said they need to really see what's going to have a more accurate estimate. It's free for them to look at the problem :)
Scheduled them to come. They arrived right on time! And in 15-20 minutes fixed my front door (easy peasy) and my back door that has literally be messed up for two years. We've had friends try to "fix" it, but it the end...they just really didn't know what they were doing, I could hug these

Can I give "Good People" 6 stars? Seriously, they are the best locksmithing company I've worked with. I work in real estate, so I am always getting locks changed and keys made. I keep Good People on my speed dial (ha - showing my age, here!). They are always quick to respond and their work is top notch. I don't care if you're locked out at 4 pm or 4 am; if you're locked out they will help you. They also give text notifications to indicate who your technician will be or to let you know the job is done (if you're not on-site, like I'm oftentimes not).

Nothing but high fives for GPL! I called on Saturday because we had been having issues with our front door lock & my son broke his key off in the lock. Our lock mechanism was an older model which would have to be secured from a specialty place. They scheduled me for Monday morning. The locksmith, Mr. Rico Brown, arrived on schedule and replaced the hardware. It all looks beautiful and works great!
