Rodney Smith, President and Owner of RLS Construction (Formally known as Rodney Lee Smith Construction, Incorporated) has over thirty years' experience within the construction business.
As a child he built treehouses and forts in the neighborhood and even did some carpentry for friends and neighbors. His formal training began at Diamond Oaks Vocational School in 1980 where he enrolled in the Construction and Carpentry class. After graduating in 1982, he began working as a Carpenter/Framer and completed all aspects of residential construction, from framing new homes to finish carpentry on the interior.

We absolutely love our new roof! We chose this business because they are not a big corporation. From start to finish everyone we encountered were amazing! Austin was fantastic every step of the way and qas available for any questions we may have had. We highly recommend RLS. Doing business with local family owned is the way to go. Extremely easy to work and very flexible around work schedules. Austen was transparent from the beginning and walked with us from start to finish. The crew that replaced the roof was amazing! They showed up as the sun came up, asked me to move a couple things so they don't accidentally damage them. They were done with the work and cleanup by early afternoon. I highly recommend RLS.

We had an excellent total roof repair this summer 2021. Ryan (sales director) inspected the roof and determined that it was damaged from storm and needed repaired. The insurance adjuster came out and agreed. RLS Construction helped by 1) encouraging me to do the claim and get the roof fixed - I was dragging my feet 2) roof was total repair with extra new enhancements to bring it up to code. 3) they worked with my ins company and was no problems.
Ryan also was flexible with allowing us time to choose the roof color and was no high pressure sales. We are really happy with top of the line Owen Corning

Absolutely Amazing. From first phone call to finished product was only about a week. Roof looks fabulous and physical work was done in 1 day. The price was even better. Crew was polite and they cleaned up everything as if they weren't there. Just completed today so ofcourse I will re- review in a few months. Very happy.

Ryan was very professional and knowledgeable explaining in detail about the roof installation and what was to be expected. The crew did an amazing job with the tear off and installation as well as clean up, I’ve never seen such hard working guy’s that were very dedicated and professional. I can't say enough good things about this company. I had some wind damage on my roof and it needed to be replaced. They made the entire process so easy. They were so patient when it came to my wife not being able to pick a color for the new shingles. They must have dropped off 20 samples for her to look at.
After a color was picked out we set up a day for the work to be done. They showed up and completed the work in a few hours! It was amazing work and I could not be happier with the results. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Ryan and Austin were great! They made the process painless

RLS installed a new roof on our house. Their crew was amazing. Hard working, efficient, courteous and great with protecting items and shrubs around the house as well as doing a great job cleaning up after themselves. The job was done in one day and the roof looks fantastic. Austen Roberts, our sales associate, did a great job of monitoring the job from start to finish. I would recommend them to anyone.

RLS Construction replaced my roof last week. Ryan was great to deal with and very helpful with the insurance process. I received a call to schedule a day for the work to begin. The crew arrived on time. They started work immediately by tearing off the old shingles. The crew did an excellent job,. We even had then replace the roof on our shed. The crew picked up all the debris, nails, etc. I was very pleased with the cleanup. The new roof looks great! I have already recommended RLS Construction to my family and friends.
