1985 - Albert C. Smitherman graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management. 1998 - With 12 years of experience in commercial and industrial concrete construction, Albert Smitherman launched Jostin Concrete Construction, Inc., his own concrete construction company.
Jostin Construction is under the leadership of Albert C. Smitherman, a veteran in the construction industry. Albert has built a team of outstanding associates committed to the success of the projects they are contracted to perform. Albert began his career in construction after graduating from Bowling Green State University in 1985 with a B.S. in Construction Management.
Jostin provides "total package" construction to general contractors, construction managers, developers and owners. This includes management and field labor of projects that involve the building of concrete foundations, pump, place and finishing of concrete slabs, and site work. Jostin's experience with a wide variety of customers allows us to tailor our services to meet many different owner requirements.
As the construction industry continues to become more innovative and competitive, Jostin has grown with it. With our years of experience, we are able to provide management expertise at all levels of a construction project as well as self-perform much of the work we manage. This offers a unique benefit to the owners in quality, control and cost.
As a general contractor, Jostin has experience in new construction, renovation, and interior build-out. From development to final product we have the capacity to self-perform many aspects of our work, and the expertise to manage our qualified subcontractors for a successful project.
