The best gutters are 'troughs' or channels that run the horizontal length of your roof eave and catch the rain before it can splash on the ground. They include 'downspouts' or pipes that run down vertically to the ground. Bottom elbows and extensions turn the rain 'away' or horizontally again away from the house.

If any of you are in need of outside updates for your home, I totally recommend JR General Contracting Services to do it. We totally love our new fence! We also had gutters installed, a new pad for our motorcycle trailer and new concrete laid in our driveway. JR exceeded our expectations from beginning to end. He was very consultative along the way and thought of the little details we hadn’t thought about. He’s definitely got an eye for exterior finishes! You can’t go wrong! Thanks JR!
