Dean, thanks for responding quickly when my clients needed a quick and honest opinion. I often send many of my Buyers and Sellers Dean's way for an honest opinion. Dean will shoot you straight and does not try to talk people into thousands of dollars of unnecessary work. He does work in tricky situations where weather, soil, and structures all play their own roles - it is hard to get each one exactly right - but he will do his best no question!

Zero stars. Advanced Systems of NE Kansas was contracted to stabilize a foundation wall and seal cracks in our foundation. Now the leaning wall is leaking water through the bolds and plates just as another review has stated. We also (like another reviewer) had reputable contractors come to inspect the work done by Advanced Systems and they confirmed the anchors were improperly placed. Now we are left with a wall that is leaning, leaking, and will have to pay a reputable provider to redo the work properly. Do not recommend.

My family and I purchased our home about 8 years ago. The east wall of our basement was in the process of shifting roughly 2 1/2 inches at the top at the time. In order for my family and I to get a loan to purchase the house we had to get the walls reinforced. Advanced systems of north east Kansas had come out and recommended they installed 2 dead man anchors on the east wall as well as 2 on the south. We had them do the work and 8 years later our foundation is now leaning 4 1/2 to 5 inches. Long story short we had sought out 3 proposals from very reputable contractors in the area. Dean seems like a knowledgeable, stand up guy. However, we were not entirely satisfied with the results of their work. They installed several piers under our concrete front porch which seemed to temporarily address the cracking in our interior and exterior walls. However, after a few weeks, the cracks came back, and since that time more cracks have appeared. Both Dean and Chris came out to look the situation over but didn't seem to have any answers except to blame it on the weather and the shifting ground. I chose Advanced Systems due to their guarantee. I had work done on my home over 5 years ago and noticed a crack in a wall. This crack was in a different area than where the work was done, but it worried me. I contacted the company and Dean reached out to me immediately to set up an appointment. He came out and reviewed my house. The crack was due to a different issue, but Dean pointed that out to me and told me don't waist money trying to fix an inner wall crack on a home that is built on fill dirt. I really appreciated his honesty and it is nice to know if I ever have a problem in the future

I'll start out by saying Dean and his team were very helpful, nice, and worked around our dying AC unit. However, I'm leaving the review at 3 starts. The job isn't finished. Dean made us some verbal promises to come back and finish the job. Bushes were destroyed. Parts of my basement's drop ceiling were destroyed. The old beams were not removed. Blocking some of the beams was done with shims instead of proper wood cut to fit. Repeated emails to Dean were met with "We'll get to it when we have time". That was a year ago.
