Edgar is a true craftsman with an exceptional work ethic. He built the most beautiful Gazebo for our garden, completing the project, despite the rain, within days of his original date for completion.Throughout the design process Edgar was a delight to work with, respectfully attentive and responsive to all our questions. When the project was completed.Edgar left a little succulent planter in the Gazebo with a thank you card, expressing his wish that we enjoy our Gazebo. Such a thoughtful touch! If I could give more stars I would.

When I first contacted Point Vertex on a referral from a friend, the company's principle Edgar responded expeditiously. He came over, reviewed the work (painting the exterior of a large house) and soon sent me a detailed quote. I had a tight deadline and he dug right into the job.
As issues arose as they always do, he explained them to me, proposed different solutions and did them with speed and skill. He did a great job, finished with time to spare and cleaned up before leaving. I'll be calling him again.

Edgar remodeled my bathroom that included removal of wall, design and installation of tiled walls and tiled floor walk in shower. We were already in contract with a painting company we have used before when they let us know that their regular contractors were unavailable and they would bed unable to replace any of the rotten wood trim on our home before painting.
Point Vertex construction was one the 3 companies I called to come out and bid on the job that needed to be completed in less than 3 weeks.
Edgar came out for an estimate, was knowledgeable about the work required and seemed like a pleasant and professional contractor to work with. He sent over a clear, thorough and fair contract soon after the estimate.

Edgar and his compadre repaired our arbor, resealed and painted our two wooden decks, repaired a fence, and then tackled an overhanging eave in the front or our house. He also restored and strengthened our patio arbor which was sagging due to dry rot. His workmanship is excellent!!! If you want the job done correctly and thoroughly, you can depend upon Edgar to do it right! *****

I really enjoyed my experience working with Edgar to build a stair addition and would not hesitate to hire him again. From the beginning he was very communicative and took the time to understand what we wanted. He was also incredibly clean and tidy. Overall, just very easy to work with. So happy with the beautiful stairs and I know he did a solid job because there were no issues with the inspections.

The points we like best about him: *Great Communication: timely and thorough; great listener; takes pains to understand the results you are trying to achieve for the job *Precise: detailed oriented and exacting in the quality of his workmanship & craftsmanship *Personable: easy to work with personality. The only area that could be further improved: *we found scratches on our newly refinished hardwood floors so better protection of floors is needed. Edgar installed a solar tube lighting system from the roof of a second floor building to an office below that required a 90 degree bend. From preconstruction review, through installation, to post construction follow-up interview, Edgar exceeded my expectations. Edgar is a super person to work with and does good work. He is very conscientious and you can often find him contemplating how he plans to tackle a repair/refurb. He is also very communicative, which is one of the skills so often lacking in his trade. He will always discuss the renovation with you and offer alternatives. Ever find your contractor has finished and there's junk and remnants of the job left scattered about? Not with Edgar. He's also very conscientious about keeping the job site clean. At the end of each day, I would find him sweeping/mopping and consolidating any items that he'd need

Edgar was awesome. I had to have plumbing work done and he came out on a moment’s notice and removed certain boards on a deck that was covering the area where the plumbers needed access. He removed the boards and put them back once the plumbers were done. It was not easy to remove the boards, but he did a great job and the deck looks great. I highly recommend him.

Edgar and his carpenter worked hard for five days to update foundation piers under my house. When he first came to look at the job, we inspected the entire foundation together and he described to me how he would address my building's issues. The work went just as he described and my house is now in much better shape. Would definitely hire Point Vertex again.

I first reached out to Edgar last year when planning a backyard deck project. He was very careful in assessing my needs over phone, e-mail, and text. I priced out a couple other construction companies in the meantime, and found Pointvertex's budget to be most reasonable.
Ultimately, the larger project did not happen, but then I thought of him again when the back porch needed more immediate attention. In the midst of the pandemic (this would be May 2020 at this point, when outdoor construction was allowed to resume in this county), we were able to schedule work in a reasonable time frame.

Edgar is great! He did a wonderful job on our security door installation and fence work after a break-in. He was honest about the work that needed to be done and even talked me out of some unnecessary work. He's also honest about projects that are beyond his scope (which isn't much) and will give you recommendations if needed. I look forward to being able to call Edgar for our next project!

Edgar did a really great job installing new kitchen tile counters, backsplash, sink, garbage disposal and faucet. It was a very complicated tile layout due to the kitchen sink being at an angle. Edgar had great design ideas to fix problem areas. Edgar always took the time to make sure that the finished product was exactly what I wanted. It was a pleasure working with him. He promptly returned my calls and texts and showed up on time. He did a great job cleaning up. I'm very happy with the work he did.
