Western Solar did a great job installing a heat pump system at our house. They were friendly and great to work with throughout the process. Marcus came out to see what we had in mind, took some measurements, and ended up recommending a 20,000 BTU unit outside and two indoor heads. The installation team was quick, friendly, and did a great job.
If we switch our heat to electric, we can add a couple of indoor units to the other side of the house, but we have been happy with the two for cooling. Now our place is nice and comfortable during the warmer summer months!

Every step in the process; from initial site review, quick and detailed estimates, timely installation scheduling, friendly crew and fast installation, great coordination with the city and energy company, and great communication and documentation, all went extremely well.

Western Solar is great. We have used them to install two solar systems and a heat pump.The free assessments are very informative, data-driven, and gave us a clear picture of what we could expect out of our systems. There was no pressure to follow up, but we are glad we did. The installations were quick and professional. The crews are friendly and do quality work. Our systems have performed flawlessly. I highly recommend using them.

Excellent service on Solar and Tesla Powerwall Installations. Western Solar was recommended by my neighbors so I went with them. I was the first to have them install Tesla Powerwalls along with the solar for battery backup during power outages and also for night-time power. They were professional, communicative, reasonably priced, and got the job done. I have not had to use city grid power from Puget Sound Energy since as the sun powers the house in the day and the batteries at night. I am very satisfied with their service.

We are so happy we chose Western Solar. We have had 64 Solar panels now for a little over 3 years never had one problem, never felt like I was bothering them when we keep asking a lot of questions in the beginning stage. We heard a loud bang like a gun shot today and lost all power. We called Markus and told him what had happened. He instructed me on what to check and that Eric, the head electrician would be out shortly. Within 30 min Eric was here, followed the problem back to the transformer. A bird had landed on the transformer fuse and blew the system, it had nothing to do with the Solar system

My wife and I really wanted solar and worked with Markus on multiple different options. He laid out multiple plans as well as honest financial predictions for both our house and garage with and without tree removal. Given the orientation of our home and our unwillingness to cut down some trees that limited our system we decided not to pursue installation as financially it did not make sense. Even though we did not end up installing any solar it was great to work with them, they were very quick to respond, and I would recommended them to anyone looking into solar.

My business partner and I vetted several different companies before choosing to use Western Solar on our commercial building AND my personal residence. We worked directly with Josh to get educated on the equipment, rebates, costs, financial forecasting, etc... I can't speak to the quality or the caliber of the other companies since we didn't use them, but I can tell you that we found Josh to be THE most informative individual we worked with. He either had every answer, or knew where to find it. We were extremely well educated by him, and Western Solar was the most competitive bid we received.

I was very impressed with the Western Solar team. It was great to have a local company work on my solar array!
After taking care of all the required permits, they showed up on a Tuesday and finished by Thursday, a day earlier than expected. This including digging a 130ft trench for an electrical line from the array to my house, building an engineered steel ground-mount setup for the solar panels, installing the panels themselves, and wiring everything together.
The installers were outstanding. The team worked well together in a professional manner. They worked quickly and built a very high quality
