Sungenia's mission is to make the solar process as simple and honest as possible, provide the best equipment for each home, and to make as many happy friends as we can. In 2013, during the height of the solar boom, Dr. Michael Snell was investigating a solar system for his own home and was talking to several companies.
Meet the Sungenia team and founders, Mike and Don. Between the two of them you can rest assured that your solar system will be designed using the latest in high-efficiency solar components and the finished job will look as if you'd taken the time and care to do it yourself. Dr. Snell will be the principal engineer and designer of your solar system and will be directly involved in your systems entire installation.
We analyze your energy bill to determine the size and type of system your home needs. Typically we design your system based on energy history, however, there are several factors that can affect your usage after getting solar, including changes in air conditioning usage, the addition of a pool, or a new electric vehicle.
When installing a solar system our chief concerns are strength, longevity, waterproofing, and aesthetics. For that reason, all of our roof installations mount directly to the roof joists, using solar-industry best flashing, mounting, and waterproofing techniques. To prove it we offer a 10-year warranty against roof leaks.
Sungenia is a fully licensed, bonded, and insured General Contractor with a Class B license #998985. We are covered by Workman's Compensation and offer more-than-competitive wages and benefits to our employees. That, and our experience in all types of construction, qualifies us to work on anything your home may need.
