I used Solar Tidy for 5 years and left them a 5-star review. And though the last time they left their gloves on the roof and I asked them to remove it, but they did not. Whatever. I climbed on the roof and threw it away myself. What pissed me off though was this: I was trying to take pictures of my house and scheduled Solar Tidy 2 weeks in advance and double checked the date and time. On the day that I needed them they could not come out because they were busy on a large job downtown. Pretty messed up, just like this 1-star rating.

I like the business enough and they do they're job. On trying to book a second appointment, they canceled on my on the same day trying to book later in the week. This was after I had cleared my schedule to be at home when they were there. I find this this scheduling conflict and same-day cancelation a pretty bad business move.

Very disappointed in Solar Tidy and their professionalism! I have been using Solar tidy regularly for a few years. This last time tools were left on my roof and found by my window cleaner.
When solar tidy was out cleaning my panels, I inquired whether or not they could help me with my flag pole on the second story off balcony. They said they could. The flag pole holder was put in quite crooked and then they could not get screws out to remove, Chris yelled at me when it began to take longer than he planned. They left me with a crooked item that needed to be addressed. I got it done correctly

I used SolarTidy San Diego to clean my solar panels today. Chris was courteous, professional and the job was completed in about 30 minutes. The price was reasonable, the solar panels look clean, I'm very pleased with SolarTidy. I will definitely use them every year to clean the solar panels, I highly recommend them. SolarTidy was recommended by Stellar Solar as they were the installers. I was very impressed of what two guys with the correct tools and knowledge can do so quickly.
A no chemical procedure was explained and they hit it. I personally would never attempt this as a homeowner.
I will be a return customer based on my experience.

I made an appointment for windows and solar panels with the intention to have the gutters done another time. Brian didn't do all the windows on one side, the side that happens to be the dirtiest because it faces the road. He never gave an explanation for this, just said that his wife would call me. I was told I'd get a call from his wife for a discount, this NEVER happened. When making the appointment I was also told I'd receive pictures of the gutters after the job was completed to tell if it was needed,or not. I received zero follow up. Unfortunately they lost a loyal customer

I made an appointment Oct 2nd for Oct 23rd for solar panels and window washing. Here is the text message confirming the appointment:
"I've got you on the schedule for Friday October 23, 8am-9am for solar panels and windows!"
With less than 24Hr's notice they sent this message:
"Hi David, it's xxxxx from SolarTidy! Updated ETA for tomorrow's appointment is 1-3pm"
I text back questioning the dramatic change of time. They wrote:
"There were additional appointments added to tomorrow, and we give ETA's based on mapped out routes, so it changed
"I've got you on the schedule for Friday October 23, 8am-9am for solar panels and windows!"

We have used them twice to clean our 2nd story rooftop solar panels, in the past 2 years. The first time I was very happy, good job, very clean. The second time, also very clean, with a caveat.......Within months of the cleaning, the rains came. Small water stains in the second floor ceiling drywall, directly below the panels. I am NOT saying that Solar Tidy was directly responsible, but when I called them about it, they resisted calling me back, twice. Being bonded and insured, I was reasonably sure that they would be responsive to my concern. So my 3rd call to them was more aggressive,

So glad I found Brian and his team on Yelp! From the first contact they were very friendly and great with communication. They did a first class job and were very reliable. We had not cleaned our panels in a few years so they went above and beyond a normal job and left them like new! Can't wait to see the extra power we will be generating. They were also the most reasonable priced company we called.

Our panels were 2.5 years dirty. Solar Tidy showed up and was complete in no time at all. The crew was courteous and professional. I overheard one say to the other, "this was really dirty the microfiber brush is really dirty".
Have to admit, I don't see the upwards of 30% return, but I can say the 6 panels do appear to be doing better (per our monitoring charts).

I picked 3 stars because we had both the solar panels cleaned and our windows. 3 is the average. I'd give them 5 stars on the solar panels, but only 1 star on the windows. We've never ever had a window cleaner charge us for each pane of glass as a separate 'window' to jack up the bill and never ever had a window cleaner that didn't clean both sides of the window (inside and out). Perhaps your experience is different. In the future, I will have my solar panels cleaned by SolarTidy again. They did a fine job at a reasonable rate on the panels. As to the windows, next time
