Owner Sylvan Incao first moved to Arizona from New York state in 1992 to attend college. After completing his B.A., Sylvan entered the trades, first working as a painting contractor, but quickly moving into all forms of renovation work - especially flooring. From there, Sylvan began purchasing and renovating homes in the Prescott area, focusing on older historic homes.

I highly recommend Sylvan and his staff at Desert Hardwood Flooring if you’re in the market for wood flooring. I reached out to Sylvan from out of state because we wanted to remove the carpet and install hardwood in our new home prior to move in. I can NOT say ENOUGH about Sylvan and Desert Hardwood Flooring! He was AMAZING!!! I have a "round" house- and love wood- and didnt think I would be able to have it due to the curving walls and windows. Sylvan came up with a design that looks so gorgeous and we love our wood floors. He was timely, extremely helpful, top notch customer service, and we had multiple trades happening at once. Sylvan took time to cover the entire floor with protective paper so it would not get scratched by the other trades. He has bent over backwards to ensure we are happy- and even come back 2ce to finish up areas that

We had three bedrooms, closets and a large walk-in closet floored. Sylvan and his crew are the best. Professional, punctual; told what the work plan would be in detail. Always stayed in touch and informative. They worked efficiently and finished when they said they would. Sylvan is very knowledgeable and runs his business very professionally. Cleanup each day. I can't say enough good things about Sylvan. He helped us select the best flooring for our needs and budget. He scheduled the work and showed up when he said he would. He told us what to expect each day and for the entire project, which was re-flooring the entire house. His work is flawless. He even had enough time to put in a new fireplace wall. Sylvan listens well and responds thoughtfully. Oh, and if you are concerned about having workmen in your house, rest easy; Sylvan is a man of integrity.

Installing wood floors in a home is a major undertaking, and we wanted to get it right.
