Growing up with family in the trades, I developed a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship of a tradesman. As I entered the workforce, I spent almost 15 years consulting with plumbing, electrical and professional businesses on their people strategy, work culture and how they executed on their company values.
So in 2017, the first Home Works Now company was founded with the notion that I can combine all of my personal and professional experiences along with the strong relationships I've built to create a unique trades service company. Our goal as a company is to provide residential homeowners and commercial clients the service excellence and expertise they deserve, and deliver the absolute finest quality of work for their project.

At Home Works Now, our client engagement strategy is to simplify the customer's experience with their project. In May, 2021, Home Works Now installed a Generac whole house standby 24kw generator at my home. I took my time, did my homework and research thoroughly, and ultimately chose Home Works Now, and it’s owner, Jim Wind, todo the work. Jim was highly professional and cooperative in every phase of the project and was exceptionally responsive to all my questions. Fabulous company, professional men - in our experience remodeling our Naples condo!
Not to mention, we stayed in our condo while they completed their work. Every concern, every text, every call was returned and handled immediately! We felt that we were “in good hands” throughout the entire process of remodeling! It was so nice to work with honest people who kept our interest at heart. I met James on 05/27 for a quote only. In the discussion I let him know that I had a small drip on my shower head. He fixed it in 5 minutes and totally earned my respect with no charge whatsoever. You gotta love people who invest in you these days. I am looking to purchase a home generator and it will likely be from Home Works Now!

Home Works Now is an AWESOME company! They installed a Generac backup generator at our home. The work was TRULY OUTSTANDING. Their professionals were exceptional. They were courteous , did a great job, and cleaned up at the end of each day before leaving our home. James and his employees truly care about pleasing their customers, especially Eric who consistently goes beyond what is necessary to help us. We have hired the company several times since the generator install, for various jobs at our home, and they have always done excellent work.

I spoke with Jim Wind Saturday morning after placing calls to three companies for a price on an HVAC system for my home. He was first to return my call and we were able to work out a very fair price on a full system within thirty minutes. He was highly knowledgeable and represents all major AC manufacturers. Home Works Now installed a Generac 22kW Guardian Series generator in my new home. The price was fair and reasonable (I had gotten 6 estimates from other companies). Since this is a high-ticket item for any home, I took my time and did my research in choosing companies to call and meet with. There was no doubt in my mind that after meeting James Wind, the owner of Home Works Now, and discussing his proposal, that he would be hired for the install. James is genuinely honest and was responsive from start to finish. He answered all of my questions and took the time to explain the generator functions

Jimmy and his team were extremely reliable and thorough. They custom built a wall unit an relocated/added all the electrical needed with sconces and additional outlets for my Sonos surround sound. The company is a pleasure to work with. I will most definitely use them again on any other remodeling projects.

Great service. Jimmy came out on Christmas Eve eve night to get my guest bathroom all plumed in after my remodel so we could enjoy Christmas at our house for the first time. Top quality work. Took extra care to make sure everything looked and functioned properly even though all the plumbing is hidden he wanted to make sure if someone else came in for repair they looked at the work and said damn... that was a damn good job this other guy did.
