Septic tanks need to be cleaned out on a regular basis, where I live, it is required every 5 years by county ordinance. This is the second time I have had The Septic Doctor perform the service. Once again, they did a very thorough job, checked the tank to make sure everything looked good, and did not leave a mess. The technician today was Bill, who is experienced, explained everything, and did a great job. With proper maintenance, a septic tank can last a very long time and can be very economical.

From the first email to the end result, The Septic Doctor had our drain field issue resolved in just a few days. I had the Septic Doctor pump out my residential septic tank and they did a fantastic job! They also found some issues with the system that I had suspected and within the same day fixed and tested everything. They didn't try to sell me any unnecessary parts. I watched everything they did and it was a good, clean job. I also asked them a lot of questions about these types of systems and they were able answer everything easily. I really appreciated their help and would use their services again.

This company is honest, fair, fast and reliable. We had a septic issue that left us struggling with both our homeowner's insurance and several other septic/plumbing companies. After hearing about Septic Doctor from a friend, we decided to give them a call. Thank God we did! They came to our Dinwiddie home, diagnosed the problem and provided an estimate within a day of our initial call. The work was scheduled within a week. The work was completed early and UNDER budget. The employees seem knowledgeable and very helpful, however, I would never recommend doing business with the owner, Mr. King. His company performed some work on an old septic system of a short-term rental we were staying in. We had multiple septic backups at this home (in 8 months) due to what was discovered to be a repair caused by erosion and a sinking inlet. Long story short, Mr. King decided to write an email on the owner's behalf to say we were the cause of the repair (stating he found wipes in the system). Can there be a 0 star, my property is in their service area, so called to get them to look at my drain field. They do not want to provide the service they state they do. I would not recommend any company that will not perform the services they state they will. The back story. I had an inspection, inspector would not approve the drain field due to all the rain we have had over the past few months and the ground was "moist and soggy", the inspector said we needed a new distro box, so I called around and got that completed, upon requesting a approval they would not approve the drain field, no information

Tim was very helpful and the crew that he sent over when i, asked him to get it pumped right away. I had been having trouble with my septic due to neglect from the company that was “supposedly” taking care of our septic. He even offered to help get my tank fixed. Sadly the guy he works with is a no brainer but, above all they hooked me up. I would recommend them.
4 stars because they work with Larry Madison from Madison Environmental LLC. Avoid them at all cost if you have eco-flo septic. That septic has flaw that Larry will never tell you about and will wait for your septic to take the pits
