Ascher Tree Services (ATS) was created in order to provide client centered high quality tree care within the greater Columbus, OH area. This is accomplished by keeping up to date on the latest research and techniques relating to arboriculture, as well as by having an ISA certified arborist from start to finish on every job.
ATS is a smaller company which allows us to keep costs down as well as focus on the specific needs of the customer. We pride ourselves on concentrating more on the quality of each individual job, not just production. ATS specializes in the following areas: plant health care, tree pruning, preservation, planting, removals, and consulting.

ATS is owned and operated by Tim Ascher, who has been working with trees for over a decade. He is an ISA certified arborist and has a Masters of Science in Forest Management from The Ohio State University. With this background and experience Tim is able to provide research based, high quality tree assessments.

We have used Asher Tree Service for several years to trim and shape our weeping beech tree and our hackberry. They always arrive when they say they will. The final bill is always as quoted. I love that it's a family business and I also love that he uses a truck with a cool crane to haul the branches away. So much quieter than the chippers most companies use. And you can tell that he loves trees. He will do what it takes to save your tree even if it means less money for him. He's not going to chop it down just to make a buck.

Tim Ascher to the rescue! We had to remove a very large (over 40 ft?) spruce at our home in Upper Arlington. Tim came quickly for a quote, was reasonably priced and was able to get the job done in my (quick) time-frame. Ascher Tree Service does a wonderful, timely and top notch job in caring for your trees at an excellent value. They have cut two very large trees down for us and have helped us with maintaining the trees we were able to keep. Tim is trustworthy and really easy to work with. We will definitely continue to use them for all of our tree trimming needs. You can't find a better tree service.

I was in the process of cutting down a tree near a busy street and was a little weary as I am not a professional and was afraid the tree may fall into the street, potentially hurting someone. My friend recommended I give Tim a call to get some experienced assistance. I gave Tim a call and he happened to be in the area on a job. Ascher Tree Service's estimate was far below the other 2 estimates we received. They came when scheduled. The job was done in three stages. Our requests were fulfilled. The areas were left clean when they finished. The manager, Tim, was very easy to work with. Tim had extensive knowledge in the health of trees which guided us to do what was best for our lawn in the future. We definitely will call Ascher Tree Service for any future tree needs. We have already recommended them to our neighbors.

I am very pleased with Ascher Tree Services. Tim Ascher called me back the day I first contacted him, and agreed to meet me at my house the next day to walk through my proposed tree projects. He was right on time the next morning and dealt with me honestly and practically. I learned more about the trees in my yard than I had in the 10 years prior. He provided me a quote for the work that very night by email, answered all my questions and had the job done in less than a week. Work was great, professional and done all while I was at work. I highly recommend Tim's services.

Ascher Tree Service more than lived up to my expectations! I had seen the great reviews through both Google and Angie's List, and gave them a try. Tim Ascher, himself, showed up to give me a quote and discuss the health and well being of the trees on my property. We contacted Ascher Tree Services for help assessing the trees on our property. The proprietor, Tim Ascher, walked our property with us and provided valuable insight about our trees and patiently answered our questions. Mr. Ascher is a certified arborist and was able to go into great detail about the strengths and weaknesses of all of our trees.
