My parents installed a Novan solar hot water system back in the 70's and it worked for decades. But they got older and stopped taking care of things and by the time I took over their house, it wasn't working. I thought it might be a write-off, but Boulder's Smart Regs energy standards had me taking a look at getting it fixed.
We are impressed with the longevity of many of the solar thermal systems we see on today's homes. Initial visit was timely, professional, efficient etc. but what impressed me to the point I am typing this ( something I have shunned in the past ) is mainly two things. Pete and Adam thought thru my situation -- To Save ME $ and found an effective, less costly alternative to remedy the problem. Secondly; later I called with an issue that easily could/should have resulted in a costly - for me - service call but instead Pete insisted on hearing what the issue was and took his time patiently and successfully walking me thru the issue.

I have an 8 year old Solar thermal system that has performed wonderfully. 3 days ago it failed. I called the company that installed the system and and trouble shot with them a couple times, without any success. Then I called them again to see about a service call. They said they couldn't help on the phone any more but they could send a tech out in 2 weeks for a $200 minimum charge. I called Aqua care and spoke with Pete 5 times over a 3 hour period and my system is running fine.
This company is great and I highly recommend using them for solar thermal installation and related maintenance issues

We are very happy with the service we receive from Aqua Care Solar. Last year, Eric fixed a problem with our solar system, and this year Adam investigated and fixed a different problem. Both Eric and Adam quickly determined what was wrong. They arrived on time, were polite, professional, and explained things in understandable terms. Their notes were very thorough. The service charges are very fair and reasonable, and we highly recommend this company.

Aqua Care to the rescue! They checked out the system and made a detailed list of what could be salvaged and what needed to be replaced. They were able to save more parts that I expected. It still wasn't cheap, but a good investment compared to some of the other alternatives

Pete was extremely responsive even in the middle of a hail storm that had everyone scrambling. He usually responded within 24-48 hours and did not miss any of the deadlines or appointments. His team was able to accommodate us on a very unique project when no one else could or would. We will definitely use them again.

"THESE GUYS ARE GOOD" Show up on time and get it right the first time! Needed my solar panels removed and re-installed for a roof replacement. Pete (great to work with/very responsive) made recommendations on the new roofing ahead of time to accommodate the solar re-installation. Added an additional panel per Pete's recommendation, tweaked some old parts and the system is running as good as new (40+ years old).

These guys are great. Pete, the manager, is so easy to work with; actually listens to you and works with your aims as opposed to forcing his own agenda on you. Adam, the technician who serviced our system, was both experienced and very easy to work with. Did a great job for us.

Pete was awesome to work with. We have a very steep pitched roof and needed to remove 12 solar collectors to install a new roof. It was complicated and a little sketchy to begin with. But Pete was a total pro. He brought in a crane, took all the necessary safety procedures and got all 12 panels down on the ground without any damages.

I bought a house in downtown boulder two summers ago, and it had the most complicated heating and cooling system ever! We could not figure it out for the life of us! We tried so many different company's all over boulder and no one knew how to operate it. In comes Pete! He was able to get everything running for a fraction of what we expected. Now our house is pleasant in the winter and summer and we can not recommend Pete and his company enough!!!
