I submitted a service request through first American home warranty online. A few minutes later, Austin sent me a text and called me to set up an appointment for only two days later! They gave me a two hour service window and they provided a way to track my technician on his way to my house, perfectly in the middle of the two hour window! The technician was efficient and pleasant and fixed the problem in less than 20 minutes! It was unbelievable ! I definitely recommend!

Auston Heating and Air’s “professional tech” brought his partner, Austin, with him to work. He introduced him as a “fresh out of high school kid who helps me.” When I asked if he was trained, Michael responded “No, but I’m the one working, not him.” I then politely said “I honestly don’t feel comfortable having a trainee work on my unit.” Michael then said “Well, I don’t see the problem. He’s here to help me.” He then walked to the door and yelled to his partner, “Hey Austin, you’re not allowed in here. I don’t know why. She doesn’t want you in here.” He

My air conditioning went out in the heat of the summer at 5PM. The company sent a repairman out the next day and the technician arrived promptly. Steven was polite and knowledgeable, diagnosed the problem and fixed it with a part that he had on his truck, all in short time. I have air conditioning now. I am happy and comfortable.

This bad review is for two companies that have the POOREST customer service I've ever had. Austin H and A are on contract with American Home Shield(who have been fired)! Austin will NOT answer their phone. They screen every call. So if they don't to speak with you, they just ignore the call. Since they're receiving money to do American Shield work, they should answer the phone! We called American Shield when our AC tanked. This was on July 29th. When we called, AS calls the contract people (Austin Air). Per Austin Air, they could not fix it until the following Monday. Seriously

Shame on you! We got a new unit through American Home Shield in 2013. Looks like they put in a 3.5 ton when we could've easily used a 4 or 4.5 ton unit. Parts inside were apparently re-manufactured.
We now need a new unit because this was is inadequate and a POS.
Go somewhere else, anywhere but here!

Joel arrived within the service time window given. He was knowledgeable and courteous. He knew immediately what the problem was. He removed the part and replaced it with a new one. He then came inside and checked air output from the vents with a meter. Cold air was blowing!!!
Dont judge Austin Heating and Air by the reviews on here. My interaction with them was 100% all positive :). I would recommend

My home warranty sent Austin Heating & Air to my home to work on my AC. It wasn't cooling off my house. My thermostat was sat at 78 and it was 89 in my house. The unit ran all day and night. So Austin's came to fix it. They said there was some something that needed cleaning and that what they did. I think they said it was some coil or something I don't remember. Well whatever it was it didn't fix it. So I had to call someone myself to come out and fix it. My unit needed washing out and freon. Ok I can understand them not washing it out but the freon. Shouldn't you check

Well I got to use my homeowners insurance American Home Shield it took about a week or so from them to come out but that was okay we were gone out of the house anyway guy came out he looked at it told me what was wrong with it had to order the part which is all good part came in he tried putting it in he wasn't sure how to do it so it was another couple days I had to wait without AC luckily we still had one AC running so it wasn't as bad next time he came out he brought the supervisor the guy squared away now the house is cold as hell would recommended hope I don't got to call him

Came out last week for a tune up I know the guy washed out the evaporator, he took my water hose on the roof. Noticed some water leaking from the roof yesterday got up on the roof and opened up the unit myself and found all this. If you’re going to wash out the evaporator, where is all the dirt going? Oh wait I think I know!

Austin Heating and Air is the only company I use since they are an honest, reputable company with integrity. Another heating and air company tried to scam me into buying a new system at $20,000! I called Austin Heating and Air to give me a second opinion. They found what the first company did to my heater to try and scare me into buying a new one! Charged me $300.00 for the new part that the first company damaged and told me the truth what the first company did to scam me. That's integrity at it's highest! So when I did get a new unit who do you think I called?! You can count on this

Really disappointed that I was given incorrect info and then was charged $125 twice by my home warranty company because the technician didn't know what he was doing that I needed to have another company come out. All they do is warranty company work so they could care less about you. We've been so cold for over 2 weeks. Call Acclimate or request to have American Home Shield assign a different contractor.

Please choose any other heating and air than this company. Customer service is the worst ever. No responsiveness. Go ahead and leave messages with their answering service you will never get a response. Even though the home warranty company recommends them tell them to choose anyone else. Bad experience.

Austin Heating and Air saved the day!! Michael and his helper came out and efficiently replaced our outside unit. Michael was very professional and went above and beyond to make sure everything looked good.
Nicole who did the scheduling was very helpful and got the job scheduled as soon as possible during a very busy time.
