I am sleeping and wake due to a loud rattle, shake, and boom coming from my restroom ceiling.
My thought: "What was that?! Please say it's not the air conditioner."
I remember many neighbors mentioning Backslee for air conditioning services. All had positive things to say (used them for years, honest company, quick to service and repair the issue, etc.)
I called one company before calling Backslee.
I was told it would be best if I get a whole new a/c unit and they can order one and install for me for $4,000. *I have an infant. No, I can not do that.

Marlon was very knowledgeable and professional when he came to diagnose a problem with our attic AC unit. The first company I called for a repair sent out a salesman instead and tried to convince me we needed a whole new unit. I called Backslee for a second opinion and they were able to schedule a service call within two days. Marlon assessed and replaced a simple broken capacitor in about 30 minutes. Backslee will always be my first call whenever we have an HVAC issue in the future! Excellent and honest family company!

They are outstanding, it’s a family business and the senior person, Marlon was on site the entire time. He did some very creative work to prevent leaks from the condensation drains that have been a problem for 20 years. Their prices are very reasonable with several options presented. The work was done timely, they cleaned up the work areas and all the staff were very polite and well trained. A very good experience!

As a first time home owner, I was terrified of my first AC repair call. I was afraid to get involved with a dishonest company. I was referred to Backslee Air my my neighbor, and I will never call another company to assist with AC troubles. Joshua was very pleasant to work with. He was honest and very knowledgeable.

Backslee Air Conditioning came the very next morning after my call. They were giving me a personal review to contest 2 bad home warranty service calls. The other 2 companies sent by First American Home Warranty had quoted between $3,200 and $3,600 to replace unit that was not repairable according to them. I called Backslee for an independent review and Kerry replaced a capacitor and repaired some wiring. The unit fired right up. My bill was $216. This is an honest company run by honest people. My son also had a similar experience where Backslee fixed an issue for around $200 that 2 other companies

These guys came recommended from my neighbor. Family owned business with individuals that understand that thorough service and word of mouth are a better business model than half assed work and late night commercials.
