I couldn’t recommend them more. Really good, reliable, honest guys. These are guys I would be friends with, and totally professional. They moved my upright with a baby grand soundboard (very heavy) and they were gentle and efficient with it. I trust them 100 percent. I scheduled this last minute and they accommodated me. Worth every penny. Thanks, Matteo!!! If I move again I know who I’m calling!

Mateo and his team came to the rescue when my piano movers had to cancel at the last second. I told Mateo I have a 900 lb Upright Grand Piano to be moved up 3 flights of stairs within the next few days. Without hesitation, they took on the job and delivered the piano.
Words cannot express how grateful and how surprised I was to see them haul this piano up 45 stairs. They have a great sense of humor and are professional and friendly. Without a doubt, 10/10 would recommend. #EssentialWorkers

Matteo and his crew were amazing. They were very professional and showed great care in moving our beloved upright piano to our new home. They also helped us move a refrigerator and reassemble it (the doors had been removed). I’ve now worked with Matteo twice to move this piano and I would highly recommend his business for moving pianos as well as other large heavy items that need to be handled with care.

Firsthand Piano Moving and Storage (Matteo and Thomas) was on time, friendly, helpful, and efficient in moving a new, used piano to our house. The price was reasonable and the process was easy. They even gave us piano moving tips as we watched them. Piano moving is its own art, from what I saw, with lots of little details to know about to do it right. There were stairs and bumpy slopes to contend with in the Berkeley Hills where the piano came from, and it arrived here in great shape. Getting professional piano movers was definitely the right choice and I feel like it was money well spent.

We had an appointment scheduled an hour later for the next day. He and his crew were on time and very good at moving our new piano into the house.

Firsthand Piano Moving was able to get me on their schedule right away during a busy time when everyone is taking up piano, apparently. They happened to have another piano move in my town scheduled, so they just added our upright piano to that day's calendar. Matteo and his team of two others picked up our piano from one residence and moved it into ours. They used small carpets to protect the ground as they moved up
and down steps. Ours was a pretty straightforward move, but they were pros, nonetheless. They advised us to have the piano sit 3 inches away from the wall so that we could still access
