Services
Founded in 1989, East Coast Energy Products has been dedicated to staying on top of the latest technologies and trends for heating alternatives from gas stoves to barbeques. We know that our customers are busy people and may not have time to interview plumbers, contractors, installers, and anyone else that may be required to complete a home renovation project.
We recommend all of our Monmouth County customers to have their gas fireplaces inspected and serviced at least once a year. Like most gas-fired appliances, a gas fireplace requires regular annual maintenance to ensure its safety and efficiency. Routine maintenance helps maintain low energy costs and ensures that your fireplace will continue to be operational for years of enjoyment.
Bad Ash Barbeque is a division of East Coast Energy Products. We expanded our showroom in 2010 to distinguish the demand of our Barbeque and Outdoor living clients from our Fireplace and Hearth clients. Bad Ash Barbeque and Outdoor Center carries a vast variety of outdoor gas grills. Including but not limited to, Weber, Broilmaster, TEC, Solaire, Broilking and MHP.
Just because you don't have a backyard doesn't mean you can't enjoy the great benefits of grilling! Electric grills are the perfect solution for anyone with a condo, apartment or small patio or deck. We only carry electric grills that perform at temperatures a gas grill can. Are you tired of buying a new grill every 1-2 years?
Cooking meat over an open flame has been going on since the dawn of civilization. Starting from a coal-filled pit with a stake to turn the meat over, charcoal barbequeing still continues to develop as a modern way of cooking. Although not originated in America charcoal barbeque has become the ultimate American tradition.

PLEASE READ: IF THERE WAS A NEGATIVE STAR....I WOULD OF USED IT. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY....THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK. I HAD A GAS FIREPLACE INSTALLED BY SOMEONE ELSE AFTER HURRICANE SANDY. IT STOPPED WORKING RIGHT BEFORE COVID. I DECIDED TO USE EAST COAST FOR SERVICE SINCE IVE ALWAYS HEARD GREAT THINGS ABOUT THEM. THEY TOLD ME THAT IT COULDNT BE FIXED 9AND NOW I WONDER IF I WAS RIPPED OFF) THAT I HAD TO INSTALL A WHOLE NEW UNIT WHICH TOTALED IN COST $613.00 AND WAS COMPLETED IN 8/7/20. 7 MONTHS LATER 4/20/21...IT STARTS BEEPING.....THEY COME OUT AND SAID IT NEEDED A NEW BATTERY. OK FINE

East Coast Energy Products will not service what they sell. I recommend that you DO NOT purchase a fireplace from them. I purchased a new Valor gas fireplace from ECEP in 2017. Scheduling any maintenance service with them has always been difficult. They have always had poor customer service. But today they reached a new low. The radio receiver in my fireplace needs to be repaired or replaced. I can turn the fireplace on, but I can't turn it off. Today I was told that ECEP no longer services fireplaces. They were unable to recommend to me another dealer who does service my fireplace. They actually

How can you tell a potential new customer you need a credit card to be kept on file to hold a service call date that is a month out? Shady business practice in this day and age. Get with the times. Called their competitor they came and did the call 3 days later l, took my payment at the time of service completion and that’s it.

So much for trying to support a local business. Over 3 months ago I told them I needed an igniter for my Weber grill. They wouldn’t come out without a full service, which I agreed to. They showed up and didn’t have my parts. Then took multiple weeks to order the parts and sent someone out to my home again with the wrong parts. Long story short, over 3 months now to replace an igniter and it still isn’t done. Very disappointing, will not use again and definitely will never recommend.

We used East Coast Energy this past year to have a new gas insert installed as well as two mantels. The cost was right in line with other estimates that we received. Our salesperson was friendly and very helpful. Our installers were fantastic. They were professional, neat and arrived right on time. We are very happy with how our two fireplaces look and would highly recommend them.
