Union Church of Dunnigan is a historic church located at 3615 County Road 89A in Dunnigan, California. The Gothic Revival church construction began in 1892, and was completed in 1894. Its design features pointed arch windows and doorways and a louvered bell tower with a working bell. When you want to make decisions about an Art Glass Restoration but are not sure of the direction that will safely and respectfully complete the project.
Bring your creativity we will support you with guidance and the tools needed to build your piece. In this class, you receive guidance and support to take your creativity to the next level. Our Basket Weave class is a part of our Fun Fusing series. In this class, students will assemble their baskets by choosing the colors of the glass they want then weaving these colors to create their final piece.
For groups larger than 6 people we can work with you on a date and time that works best for you. These flowers will never wilt. During this class you will pick the glass colors you want, cut and grind your glass petals then assemble your flower. We then fuse your flower, then fire it again using a slump mold.

Fun, bustling little glass shop! Full of people happily working on glass projects, very helpful and kind staff. Mask-wearing was definitely voluntary, but no pressure either way.
I've just started glass, they were very kind and patient, ended up spending rather more than I planned... There's a surprise. Good cash discount on the glass sheets, well worth taking advantage of. They were happy to split the sale so I could get the discount. Like I said, very friendly and helpful.
Fun place to visit.

My sister and I came and checked out the store because I am thinking of doing a stained glass project for my home, and so I'm thought it would be good to come and take a look at the store, and see what they are about.

Upon arrival, we saw some students' artworks and some other works that were for sale. Towards the back of the store, there is a ton of glass for purchase for projects, and we saw that they have kits for beginners and such. We took our time walking around the store, but no one asked us if we needed help or have any questions. There was one lady who was on her phone and

Excellent prices and an amazing manager. We talked about how she got into glass working and connected over the fact that both she and my partner went to the same school. Highly recommend this place for people who need glass for projects. Beautiful pieces .

I bought a Groupon and took a friend.
Location was easy to get to from Vacaville.
Easy off freeway and parking in front.

MUST WEAR A MASK

Class was setup with plexiglass stations and all tools needed including goggles. WEAR CLOSED TOE SHOES and will make sense to you.

Cathy instructor was very down to earth with great personality. She explained each step and helped as much as you needed.

You do not need special skills. You need patience and let the inner child come out and design something great.

The owners/mgrs/head chicks are so nice. Good vibe place and you feel welcome.

Maybe a new addiction

What a terrible business. First time we ordered a piece of glass it took almost three months to get it...always something. Husband sick, on vacation or some other bs excuse. Now we order over six weeks ago, never heard anything. Called today to follow up and now they are moving and will be at least another month out. Don't you think you should inform your customers at the time of order or at least give them an update...just terrible business practices

Love this shop and the history that comes with it! Great customer service and the store itself has a very cozy and welcoming feeling. There aren't enough mom and pop shops like this one around anymore.

Rainbow Glass owner Phil is a wealth of knowledge. He spent the day teaching us the origins of glass making through glass used in the space shuttles. Along with his knowledge he is also a very patient teacher and takes you through all the steps of glass blowing. A wonderful experience and my Fibonacci paperweight is beautiful as well as the glass projects my friends made. Thank you Rainbow Glass!

Owners are incredibly rude, I don't know how they stay in business. As a "new customer" I won't go back and I wonder how those who are older customers who witness this rudeness stay. Very poor "teachers" (owners) who prefer to inflate egos over non-class subjects. They do not teach yet gave expectations of you knowing everything. FIND AN ALTERNATIVE, don't go here if you hope for a relaxed, inviting, learning atmosphere.

Pretty sad. Called before I drove 1 1/2 hours to get there and was told they had a great selection of 90 COE fusing glass. I needed two sheets for a custom order. Arrived to find very, very poor selection. They not only didn't have what I needed, but they didn't have much at all. They seemed more interested in knowing who I was (as if it really mattered) and informing me that they had never heard of me (I could care less) than in actually helping me. I am a very, very busy glass artist and show my work through shows and in galleries. I have more glass in my working studio that

I went to this store with the intent of supporting a local brick-and-mortar shop instead of buying online. I hoped that my visit would inspire me to take on a new hobby and show me a new resource to get information and expertise about working with glass.

That did not happen, and I will not be supporting this local business.

The elderly woman working in the back who helped me was the wrong mix of information and attitude. She seemed put out when answering my questions and was condescending with many of her responses. I'm sure she knows her subject well, but if she cannot communicate

Made me feel like the Rembrandt of Glass art. I purchased a Groupon for myself and a friend. My friend is an artist and she was completely taken by the time spent at Rainbow Glass.
I cannot express my overall satisfaction with the people and the level of expertise we encountered. If I could rate it 6 stars I would. I will go back and take others with me. I have to share this experience. Remarkable!!!
