U.S.A. Pools started out as a service company by Tom Braun in 1989. By the mid-1990s, U.S.A. Pools was completing total pool renovations. After a decade of providing service and making old pools look new, expanding into custom pool building was a natural progression. Combining years of experience with today's state-of-the-art products, U.S.A. Pools builds custom swimming pools the right way, at an affordable price.
If your pool is dated, or in need of a facelift, new tile can make your pool look brand new. Or, try going natural with gray plaster and stone coping for the look and feel of a blue lagoon. The best time to renovate your pool is in the Spring or Fall. Call for more details. How about a tile mosaic in your pool?
Answer: The main difference between shotcrete and gunite is 3/8 stone. Gunite is a dry mixture of sand and cement with water added at the nozzle during application. Shotcrete is a wet mix of sand, cement and usually 3/8 pea gravel, delivered to the job already mixed in a concrete truck. Answer: Tile and coping damage are often the results of poor drainage around the pool, leading to saturation of the pool shell.

I ca't say enough great things about Tom and the team at USA Pools. They built our pool in 2018. The build experience was flawless and on time. Over the last few years, they have serviced our pool each season, and again the service has been nothing short of amazing.
Just yesterday, at 3:45pm the family that was renting from us called and said they couldn't get the hot tub working... I called Liz and before I even had a chance to call the renter back to let them know that it would get looked after, the service guy (Tim) was already there. No joke - less than 15 minutes.
They are world class..

Extremely knowledgeable and insightful in all phases of pool planning and design. There is so much that comes with planning, design, and installing a pool, and Tom and Lisa Braun and the USA Pool staff are experts and professionals at what they do. They have a family feel to the entire experience and we can't say enough about our experience with them. Tom is a straight shooter and doesn't necessarily tell you what you want to hear. He tells you the TRUTH from his extensive 35+ years in the pool business - I very much appreciate his honesty. I highly recommend USA Pools!!!

USA Pools has provided the best service. Got back to the house on Saturday after the hurricane on Tuesday and we couldn’t get the pump to start up. Made a call (after normal Saturday hours) and Timmy was here in 15 minutes. He knew what was wrong and had it running in 3 minutes. Amazing service!

Called for an appointment for an estimate for a pool remodel of gunite pool. Was told I would hear from a representative within 2 days. I even called a week later to follow up and advise that I had not been contacted and was again told I would be contacted by a representative. It’s been nearly 2 months and never heard from them. Not very professional. I am going with another pool company for the remodel.

We have enjoyed the personal service and great attention to detail. Tim comes faithfully twice a week and always goes out of his way to let me know how the chemicals are holding up and keeps the pool perfectly clean. When there is a mechanical problem he knows the solution and takes care of it quickly. Great people.

USA Pools is run by a Tom Braun who sets the tone for his team . Unfortunately that tone is " you are doing him a favor " HE NEVER RETURNS CALLS.... EVEN WHEN THERE ARE MAJOR ISSUES. The same attitude carry through to his 2nd in command Josh. He is nice at first but then becomes an Arrogant individual to deal with. I know several homeowners who have gotten rid of him because of his attitude and lack of returning calls. One in particular ... Tom cursed out.

Tom and staff are the best. Pool was installed over 10 years ago, and USA has been servicing it every year. Pool is ALWAYS cleaned , serviced and ready for any occasion. From the personal attention that Tom gave us at installation to any repair and replacement parts over the years , they are always prompt, knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Also, if there was a special occasion , Tom and staff ALWAYS got any issues handled prior to the event, even if it meant coming out on weekends or after working hours..I can't say enough about USA Pools. I highly recommend them.

We hired USA pools to design a pool for a new house we were building in Stone Harbor in 2014. We worked with Tom Braun and found him very easy to deal with. He talked us through the process, drove us around to various pools so we could see what he had done in the area, built the pool on time and on budget. We have continued to have him service the pool for the last three years and when we have had a problem that needed attention, the service was handled promptly and efficiently. We could not have asked for a better experience!

Tom Braun's design creativity is beyond comparison on the island! He has transformed our backyard into a space that we use almost every day in the Summer.
The twice a week service is also better than anywhere else on the island of Avalon NJ. Every person on his staff is friendly and knowledgeable as well. Can't say enough good things about USA Pools in AVALON NJ

1. USA Pools Sales/installation - Not a good experience at all from my perspective. Owner is a nice guy, but he will not work well at all with builders, and anyone outside of who he feels is worthy to solving normal general issues, questions, etc that are directly related to your USA Pool installation. He is at times non-responsive and will only address issues when absolutely necessary. Disappointing for someone like myself who has never bought a pool. He is responsive at the time of sale however, but offers
