Preservationist Brett Waterman brings new life to historic homes on his renovation show Restored. Although he was raised in Southern California, Brett spent a lot of time on his family's farm in Oklahoma learning restoration skills from his father and grandfather. Brett tackles a historic Victorian home built by Andrew McNally of Rand McNally publishing fame.

I am a contractor for 36 years and have never found a company that built anything as high quality and consistently provides the best materials, the finest craftsmanship and excellent customer service. I’ve been told these fixtures aren’t cheap, let me assure you, they are worth every penny and you will not be disappointed. If you want cheap junk, it’s available everywhere.

Old California has a clear, established presence and demographic among proud homeowners looking to take their bungalow homes to the next level. That this company has worked with the Gamble House says it all in terms of the quality and level of their work. That being the case, I'd like to write my review instead toward a different demographic who may not be as familiar with the company. I'm one of those millennial apartment dwellers who, with home-ownership in Southern California well out of reach, instead collects houseplants and other touches to make their apartment feel "homey

Our colorful lanterns from Old California Lighting quickly became our favorite additions to our new deck. A really great place for unique, creative lighting and fixtures. They can create or restore just about anything. And every piece is a true work of art. We just remodeled our kitchen, and had Tom and his staff create a chandelier and two pendant lights for us. WOW! They are beautiful and unique (can't help but use that word a lot with these folks), and are really the icing on the cake of my new kitchen. They even put a rush on them for me because I was having a baby shower at my house in less than a week. Can't say enough good things about these guys. Check them out.

If you're looking for a high quality, beautiful, customizable and made in the USA mailbox, then look no further than Old California Lighting! Obviously buying a mailbox at Lowes (for example) would be cheaper and quicker, but if you value property, the wait and cost is worth it! I love my mailbox, and am proud to have it on my new home!
