It takes a village! Our extended team spans several continents; however, everyone in our core group remains in close contact to ensure perfect organization for all work. A bit of a film buff and a great vegetarian cook, Daniel also likes more active hiking, running, sailing, dancing, and volleyball.
Always attentive and respectful, Daniel's creative approach is centered on the individual client, not some cookie-cutter solution. A collaborative process is key to his core philosophy, and he firmly believes that everyone can enjoy a comfortable, well-designed home customized just for them. A tireless globetrotter who has lived in Europe and Asia, Daniel searches far and wide for inspiration to infuse into the next project.

I hired Daniel and his team to consult with me on how to style my stairs and upstairs hallway in my Victorian farmhouse. The space is dramatic but very awkward due to every wall being a different height! Daniel gave me great advice on how to decorate the space without making it too busy or take away from the dramatic windows. I have just enough interior design training to be dangerous, but I was really stuck on what to do with this space. Daniel taught me how to look at it differently and how to think about the concept of "rhythm" in a way that I had not ever grasped before. His advice was super

Village West Design helped me develop and choose a color palette for my newly renovated apartment in San Francisco. The building was built in 1896. I wanted to honor the Victorian era roots blended with my modern tastes. Village West took this all into account through a very interactive exchange taking into account the architecture, my desire to push my boundaries, and my modern tastes. They provided a detailed paint schedule I could hand to the painters. The results speak for themselves.
