Chimney Swifts are notorious for nesting down inside chimneys, arriving in the spring they are a Federally Protected Migratory bird that CANNOT be disturbed until the nests is empty. Swifts are known to have up to 3 sets of babies so they become your constant and annoying summer guests.

The whole process from beginning to end was effortless. Last week we went to their place of business knowing nothing of gas logs nor fireplaces. Had planned on getting cement logs from a big box store but decided, after reading many confusing blogs on the subject, to go in and ask some questions. Got great answers to inquiries we didn’t even know we should have. Knowledgeable owner gave us, in no time at all, all we needed and we walked out with an appointment for the next week to install our new log set, paint our fireplace, clean our filthy chimney, and replace our gas pipe. WOW Great service, VERY knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend. We spent an hour there learning more (after much research at home) and made better decisions on logs, gas pipe, grate to hold logs, colored glass for underneath and had an appointment for install a week later. I had them come for an inspection to check out my fireplace and to make sure it was ready for winter. The guy arrived, asked me for a tape measure, looked inside the fireplace then handed me a bill for just under $200. He was there for about the same time it takes to go through a Starbucks drive-thru. The "inspector" didn't even turn on the gas...Absolutely unacceptable.

We went to look at fireplace covers because our nearly 40 year old one fell over and shattered 2 years ago. We first visited in November. We loved their selection and while we were discussing what we wanted, my husband mentioned that our damper was broken. They installed an aftermarket damper at the top of our chimney back in December and we received our new fireplace cover this past Wednesday. We are so thrilled with their customer service and helpfulness!! We highly recommend Elegant Fireside to everyone needing anything to do with their fireplace.

Be weary of using this company for repairs. I had a fireplace that wouldn’t stay lit so I called these people to come out and fix. They charged me over $300 to come out, diagnose, and replace a 2-lead thermopile(available online for around $20-$25), all of which took less than 30 minutes and resulted in doing absolutely nothing. The repair person then proceeded to tell me I had a bad gas valve and that if I wanted him to fix it would cost me an additional $450 for him to come back out and fix it ($289 part and $159 in labor). Sorry guys, but charging $750 to come out and fix a gas fireplace is

We’re going on our third year with our Elegant Fireside gas logs and I can honestly say this was our best purchase for our new house. We started out going to a big box store but weren’t happy with the selection. Not much of a choice and we didn’t like the look of the logs. The guys at Elegant Fireside walked us through the options and had them installed in no time. They’ve been perfect ever since! Great service! Timothy and Micah were very professional and friendly. They did a gas log refurbish on my fireplace and it has never looked better!!! I also admitted to them I am afraid of my gas fireplace and didn’t really know how to use it and they went way above and beyond by explaining the system and showing me how it works. My husband called and the salelady had him sold with her knowledge of gas fireplaces. He immediately went to their store and was impressed even more by their working fireplaces. He brought me back and we selected the one that we both liked. They bent over backwards to get it installed in just a few days. Tech was courteous, efficient and friendly. Yesterday we had the second fireplace set of doors installed in our home. The first ones were done about a year ago and we were so happy we ordered the second set for another room. I suppose you can buy similar doors at other places but these folks are so easy to work with and know what they are doing.
Steve at the shop looked up my first order on the phone and took a deposit. He sent over someone to measure and complete the order. They always call to verify their appointment and also give you a heads up when they are about 30 minutes out.

Jacob and Steve were wonderful in helping us find 3 fireplaces we needed for a new construction project. Extremely Knowledgeable! We are in the process of remodeling our fireplace and wanted to consider all the options from gas or wood to electric and the latest technology. Steve was extremely helpful in explaining the technology, code, pricing, and details of each unit. The showroom has examples of each type of fireplace which is hard to find in Dallas. Also one of the employees told me that the company's places new construction above existing construction and above repairs on existing construction.
I had to wait 12 weeks for my logs.
After 9 weeks, when I called to check on my PAID order, I was told that they were delayed at the Canadian border. Actually, I learned, my logs

Honest, friendly customer service at the shop. Quick response time for the install. Jacob made the extra effort to get the right part needed for my 1966 home gas fireplace replacement - when he could have easily 'Frankensteined' it. He was friendly, honest, professional, knowledgeable and had my fireplace up and running super-fast!

I recently went to chimney king to get a part and left buying a new fireplace insert. The salesman was friendly and not at all pushy, I was impressed and felt good about what I purchased. We had chimney king install the new insert and we were more than satisfied with the job they performed. We can't wait for the winter weather!I would highly recommend them to anyone.

My experience with Chimney King was excellent! I've owned my house for 8 years and only just invested in getting gas logs for the fireplace. I visited the store a few times, once to price out logs, once to purchase them at a fantastic deal, and a third time to ask why my fireplace might not be lighting up as well as expected. They advised me well about the potential issues (of which they were correct) and offered the business card of a plumber with whom they've worked.
