We saw a rat in the basement!!!! So after my shock had worn off, I called and spoke to Sean. He is so incredibly helpful and was even willing to fit me in that day! We ended up having him come the following day and he examined the whole house, inside and out. He set up necessary traps and has a schedule of when he will return. He is priced very reasonably and gives your issue all of his care and attention. I highly recommend calling him if you need services!

Didn't go with Portland Pest Guard because it's beyond their scope, but 5 stars for communication and helpfulness to determine what's needed! Sean (sp?) is responsive and friendly, and he'll be real with what he can do vs. what's best left to others. It's not every day someone talks themself out of business. Thank you!

Our friends referred us to him, so happy we were given his name! This guy is honest and extremely knowledgeable. He's not looking to just take your money or over sell you. We had a horrible ant problem that he was able to fix right away! It's been 3 years now and we've never had an issue again. We love him.

We bought our house almost four years ago now and quickly found ourselves living on top of the worlds largest ant farm. I've never seen this many in my entire life!! Well a quick call to this business met me with the kindest man ever and very quick with a good education on ants. Sean is great! He's taken care of ants, spiders, rats and wasps at my house over many years! I have two dogs and he is always conscientious about what products he uses and where/when he uses them.

So I have ants, just like everybody, and my plan was to man-up and deal with the creepy things. UNTIL...I start getting these black, furry spiders with bodies the size of a dinner plate coming to visit IN MY HOUSE! I would run for the can of Raid and drown them. AND THEN the Wasp Invasion a few days later and now I can't go outside. At all.

I called last week and made an appointment for Monday at 2pm. My rental property was supposed to confirm or deny due to a state law. Apparently they never did but Sean still came all the way out to my house and was on time for the appointment. Even though he could not reach anyone after servers tries. The miscommunication was totally on our ends and I had forgotten due to having a baby 4 days ago.

Sean couldn't have been nicer. He was early went through the house inside and out to find where the mice were getting in and found a hole in the foundation that we didn't see under the deck. It was something he couldn't fix so he told me how to take care of the problem and then didn't charge me. This type of services just doesn't happen any more. Everyone else will make you pay for the house call. He was even nice enough to go over my treatment receipt for the Ant treatment I had done by another company and let me know it was a fair price but advised he can do the same

Sean is very honest and fairly priced for his service but always call around to compare. He doesn't hesitate to refer other trusted pest control companies if there's something that he doesn't do. I had him check out my house in Division Clinton area for some rat feces I saw. He came, checked the common areas for rats and said it doesn't look like there's any current rat activity and the feces were old. He saw a possible entry point in the crawlspace and said I should fill that at some point. He didn't charge for this consultation because there was nothing to be done

We called due to rodent sounds we were hearing in our attic. Sean was very friendly on the phone, and promptly squeezed us in for the next day. He explained his weekly work process and cost structure.

As luck or fate would have it it is been about 70 days and there was a stream of ants outside of my house last night. I called the number and the owner answer the phone and was super helpful didn't even care about the date and told me he was squeezing send right away. Hello Portland. I am not much of a Yelper but I just had a great experience with Sean at Portland Pest Guard. He is both friendly and knowledgeable. For a mouse infestation newbie like me, it was a huge relief. Sean carefully walked around my house and inspected inside as well. He was helping me figure out the source of my horrible dead mouse odor. He gave me a strategy to patch up my screens leading into my house in order to control the mouse situation. He even left us with mouse traps (instructing my delighted 11 year old how to use them).
