I live out of town and realized our new rental house in Columbia had a leaking disposer. I called a couple plumbing companies that said they couldn’t quote me over the phone and couldn’t come if I was not present. I called Cottrell, they quoted exactly what it would cost over the phone, they were able to come out the very next day, they had no problem using a lockbox, the tech called beforehand and after to let me know the job went well.
I am very pleased with Cottrell, and am happy to hear they do HVAC as well.
I will definitely be using them again.

I was recommended to Cottrell by my parents who have used their services a few times; What an awesome company. I was having issues with my main sewer line being clogged up, they came out the day I called, and fixed that particular issue. Fast forward a few days, we are still having problems (unrelated to the first visit). They sent a plumber out (on a holiday) to look at the problem. The gentleman diagnosed the problem in 10 minutes, fixed said issue, and didn’t charge me a dime. Mind you, this was on a day they were closed too. All around, I had a fantastic experience with them, and recommend

They came out quickly to check out a leak. After assessing the issue we were quoted $600 to repair. 15 minutes later and 2 feet of pvc and they were finished. Now, i could have bought a 12' section of pvc for under $20.00 but they charged me over $400 for 2'! They were there less than 30 minutes and charged me $550! Totally ripped me off!!! Well, at least he was under his quote.

I watched the owner of the company Jason Cottrell and another guy assault another person inside gateway supply Co. I felt that it was very unprofessional for an owner of a company to act that way and put their hands on someone no matter the situation. I didn't see the other guy do anything to provoke the incident so if I ever needed a plumber I will call someone else and I advise others do the same. The situation was very difficult to understand why a business owner would ever want to treat someone the way he did in public.

What an awesome and professional company. The entire process from start to finish was seamless. There was not only great communication from the office but the technician as well so I'm very happy to refer anyone to this company. When you get great service at a very reasonable price, they need to be reviewed. My AC repair was due to another happy customer referring. Keep up the great service.

Quick..Professional.. Dependable! We called after 9am this morning because our heater went out. They scheduled an appointment for 3pm, the same afternoon! Brandon, our service tech actually called to try to reschedule for an earlier time, but unfortunately, we had to stick with 3pm. He was right on time and so sweet. I cannot express enough my gratitude for Josh at Cottrell, his customer service is above and beyond any expectation. He was extremely informative, professional, and friendly. Our AC unit had pretty much died on us on a Friday afternoon, he came out and inspected the unit... diagnosed the issue and was able to order parts on Monday to come and repair it. Not only that, but during the weekend he knew it would be too hot so he left us with two portable AC units to get us by... Josh is a great asset to any company and has guaranteed that I do business with them going forward permanently. We are purchasing
