I had an issue with one of our pool filter motors, so I found Scott and had him take a look. His communication was excellent, he was on time, fast, efficient and explained what was wrong and what the fix was. I expected it to cost more than it did, but Scott only fixed what was wrong and did not try to get me to buy a bunch of stuff that was not needed. I highly recommend Pool Tex and Scott and will certainly call him first next time my pool equipment craps out. Thanks, Scott!

It's not too often that I'm impressed by someone over the phone. This guy knows his stuff, and took the time to explain things in ways that were easy to understand. Excellent communication for sure. Looking forward to having Scott work on my pool... he earned a new customer today.
Update: I had a difficult plumbing repair that needed to be done on my pool equipment. Scott is the real deal! He was gracious enough to come out to service my pool on same day,short notice when I was having issues after moving in. He offered some solutions with explanation of costs and benefits/cons. Couldn't recommend POOLTEX service more!... there's a reason they are rated the highest in the area!

My pool motor went out today for the fifth time in 14 years! Naturally, it's one of the hottest days of the summer. Because of that, my wife convinced me to "call a guy" rather than ruin my weekend removing the old motor, buying a replacement, and then breaking my fingers along with my spirit as I fight my way into installing the replacement. Most professional company we have worked with in a very long time. Scott is as good as they come. We reached out to him because we had a issue with our pool not turning on. We messaged back and forth for a day, he asked lots of questions. He came out the following day and ran all kinds of diagnostics to determine it was our display that went out. He gave us a price and came out the following day to install. He was half the price of companies and very knowledge. Highly recommend!

Great guy (sorry, don't remember his name). Called me and talked me through common problems. I was convinced that my pump was out but after a few questions, I realized it was just a capacitor and replaced it myself(I do HVAC work and had one already, otherwise would not attempt). An honest contractor is hard to find so I will use pooltex for any pool related problems.

Amazingly honest service! Scott is the pool expert with incredible integrity. I called Scott to get pricing on our broken pool heater and he fixed it without replacing it; which saved our family a few thousand. I am sure he would have made more too on the more we spent. All of the other pool repair places I called did not take the time to investigate, but simply responded with more expensive prices. He is very competitive on his pricing, solid communicator, and not happy until you're totally satisfied. As long as we have a pool, Scott is our guy!

Awesome !! I had an issue with my pool motor not coming on - tried to manually reset it - was afraid either the motor was out (Expensive $$) . Called Scott - he stayed on the phone (while he was driving to another client) to guide me thru to check - and manually operate the buttons on the control box.....having done that, and telling him about all the equipment, he advised me to check the circuit breakers, and sure enough - the circuit breakers had tripped......Problem fixed !! He could have easily told me - I will come by, take a look....charged me his service fee (whatever he charges)

Scott is honest, sincere and knows more about pumps and pool equipment and pool upkeep than I thought 1 person could know. I had a failure (thought it was motor) and my pool was starting to grow algae. I got another quote from someone that didn't take the time to do more then listen to what I said then quote me an amount that made my jaw drop. I'm glad I found Scott - he came out the next day and found it to be the capacitor. I made the first time pool owners unfortunate mistake of shutting the power to my pump before winter. We found Scott through Yelp and he fixed all our cracked pipes and got our system up and running again. He was also kind enough to explain pool maintenance and how the entire system works in our new house.
