As Debbie and Eric Emms were blending their two families, they dreamed of building a business that would allow them to work together while raising their six awesome kids. They also needed some help keeping their Portland, Oregon home looking its best, but were dissatisfied by local cleaning services that often didn't return calls, and when they did, arrived to do a sub-par job.

I'd never had my house professionally cleaned before working with Rise and Shine, but I had a great experience with them! I sprained my ankle and couldn't walk without crutches for a few weeks, which made it very difficult to clean my apartment. I called several companies to get estimates, and Rise and Shine worked to fit me in to a cancellation slot the very next day! One of their technicians named Allison came to clean my apartment. She was very professional and did an amazing job. I was completely satisfied and I'll definitely work with this company again.

I want to start with saying that Allison did an absolutely fantastic job on my home. Being a full time working mother of 4 I simply can’t keep up with my standard of clean and my home had become a major source of stress for me. When I walked in my door to a CLEAN house I could have cried. Thank you Allison. I will say this… the amount of money I spent was well over my quote. I was called the day of my initial service stating that an additional hour would be needed at $90 an hour. I text Allison and let her know I approved that. We used Rise and Shine yesterday for the first time deep clean. In general they did a fair job but for a deep clean not so much. They missed several common areas like the the bathroom counters, I figured I would address it the next time the cleaners were out, every 2 weeks. I Called the owner, Carrisa to let her know and left her a voice mail with no details, expecting a. call back to talk about it. She sent me an email back pretty much telling me things that the cleaners told her that were not true and that they would not be coming back. She did this without even talking to me! When you pay 640
