Legends Pool Service is an owner-operated pool cleaning company serving San Jose, CA and the surrounding area. We are a Licensed Contractor with the state of California #1037442. All of our staff members are Certified Pool Operators by the National Swimming Pool Foundation. Derek at Legend Pool Service has been maintaining our pool for years now. When we first bought the house, we tried to do it ourselves and the pool had so many problems we really hated it and considered filling it in. Since Legends took over the maintenance (weekly), we have had no issues and the pool is clean and clear all the time. I can't recommend them highly enough.

After years of looking after our pool myself, about three years ago I started having problems with the pool chemistry. Legends quickly got the water balanced and our pool has been sparkling ever since. In addition they added an automation system with iPhone control at a reasonable price. My pool maintenance company sold me to a new one with which I wasn't satisfied. I reached out to multiple companies and Justin's knowledge and that he was taking the time to explain things convinced me to hire his company. Legends has been servicing my pool for over a year now and I couldn't be more satisfied. I have a fiberglass pool and they know what needs to be done differently for these kind of pools. I love the communication that points out issues and provides helpful tips, too.

I called Legends Pool Service to provide a quote to bring up my in-ground, gunite spa that has been sitting well over a year & needs serious help. I am out of their service area but he agreed to provide a quote for a 1-time service. The spa is over 20 years old & trying to save costs on cleaning up vs. replastering. They showed up on time & immediately went to work to assess the damage & work needed to restore the spa. They checked the pool equipment to verify it's working properly & tested the spa plaster with chemicals. Unfortunately, I will need a replaster but thanking

He explained everything so clearly and made everything easy to understand even though I'm not the one that normally handles our pool maintenance. Just switched to LPS recently. The provider we had for 20+ years left the area and I've been looking for a new good fit for the last couple years. Derek has been doing an excellent job maintaining our pool for the past year. We had previously been using a large company, and the service became spotty, with several missed visits, and repeated algae growth. I have been using Legends for almost a year now. Our pool as never been so clean and clear. Very professional and they respond quick if needed off hours with questions or service.
Before Legends we had algae growth that we couldn't get rid of. We have not had one single algae spot in our pool for almost a year.
They recently performed a chlorine scrub of entire pool. They were able to get all of the calcium deposits off pool surface. Pool is now perfect.
I would highly recommend Legends for pool services.

I reached out to Legends to get an estimate for a replacement blower for my hot tub. Justin was quick to respond and asked several follow up questions to confirm that he understood the job and situation. His quote ended up being very reasonable and the work was scheduled. We signed up with Legends Pool Service two years ago now and couldn't be happier. Justin and team are always punctual and perform an outstanding service. We don't have algae anymore like we used to, which is another example of Justin and team knowing what they are doing and performing preventative maintenance.
Some time in 2018 Justin was also able to fix the drain in our attached hot tub, which was also completed professionally.
He always makes useful recommendations on additional services without being pushy and I appreciate that. Especially, when it comes to preventative maintenance

I called these guys regarding a spa equipment leak on June 29. They got in touch within an hour to schedule a visit and came on time, diagnosed the problem, went to get parts and came back to fix it on the same day - perfect diagnosis, simple explanation, perfect job and cleanup, and reasonably priced. Justin has been absolutely fantastic to work with. We as new pool owners needed a lot of help, and in the last few months, he has helped us solve all kinds of pool related problems along with doing the weekly-service for us.
He has in-depth knowledge of equipment (so you can always bank on him to recommend the right stuff, from brush to chemicals and sweep etc.), pool water chemistry (the pool water looks crystal clear with no issues of algae/green growth) and quick fixes for the pool (able to help with pool starts, cleaning a pool that turned green, helping drain pool water when it was needed

We needed someone to install new cartridges for our pool filter and do a one time cleaning. Justin came through for us and even picked up an o-ring for us so there were no hiccups in the process. Justin and his team did a neat and thorough job. We are new pool owners and he happily answered some questions I had. Our pool sweep is not working properly and Justin has been trying to troubleshoot the problem via text. They accept credit cards, cash and check.
We will definitely hire Justin again when we need help with our pool.

This is definitely a good company to call if your having trouble with your pool. I contacted Derek about my pump that wasn't working very well. The pump was turning on and moving very little water. Derek came out diagnosed the problem and a couple days later came back and fixed the pump right away! Price was fair and my pump is running like a champ again! I couldn't be any happier. 5 star service because he's very knowledgeable price is good and my pump works great. Not more you can ask for thanks guys! Much appreciated
