BBB assisted in the recovery of >$2K in fees from Ticketmaster. The venue rules had changed after the ticket purchase and the venue authorized a refund, but Ticketmaster continued to reply with delays and redirects in an attempt to keep the money. BBB persisted and Ticketmaster finally refunded the tickets. While a company may play the distraction game on the bet that the consumer will give up, BBB was my last hope and champion.

This BBB provided the needed assistance to motivate Ring, Inc to refund $85 for an item I ordered from them that became unavailable. Ring acknowledged that the money should be refunded but excessive bureaucratic issues prevented that from happening. Once the BBB got involved, Ring’s indifferent attitude changed immediately❗️
They began emailing me every 2 to 3 days, to make sure I was happy with the refund and apologized for any inconvenience I experienced.

BBB is an awesome consumer protection agency that is Free. For any corrupt or unjust business, the BBB will confront them with your complaint within a few days. Interesting how I constantly was ignored for months by several unethical/greedy businesses, and within days they took action and refunded my money.
Do not wait to file your legitimate complaint and watch them suddenly take you serious and give you the justice you deserve.
Highly recommend for anyone who was scammed or were treated wrong in a business transaction.

I needed help to solve the issue I was having. BBB was absolutely the perfect way to go. Within a week I heard from the company and they did correct my issue! I know that without BBB my issue would not be solved as I had sent them numerous communication! I will totally get in touch with BBB in the future to help me resolve any issues that come up

BBB is my go to when disputing charges from dishonest vendors. I used BBB when AT&T charged me for cancellation fees even though I wasn't under contract; when I was charged for "dead on arrival plants" I purchased and the seller was giving me credit to use for more plants instead of refund; eBay seller who received my return but wouldn't refund the money,- just a few examples. The complaint form is easy to use and you always get the acknowledgement and updates even if the vendor doesn't respond. Most of my complaints were resolved to my satisfaction thanks to BBB.

The BBB is a wonderful consumer resource that works. They have helped resolve many issues I've had with businesses. It's not uncommon that just threatening to go the the BBB will get an issue resolved. When one does have to go the whole route of reporting, BBB helps resolve problems in a professional manner. I am 65 and have used their service since my 20s. Sometimes it is hard to figure out who to report. I'm finding that some online companies are called one thing but are owned by a company by a different name and it's hard to figure it out.

I used the services of BBB after a vendor refused to provide me with a refund for services not rendered. Fortunately they were a BBB member. I contacted BBB for help, and providing detailed information and informed them I would be filing in small claims court. They contacted the vendor and got the issue resolved without going to court. If you're like me, the majority of my shopping is done digitally. It is not without human interaction but that interaction is managed using ecommerce, web conferencing, social tools, email, etc. In other words, issues are going to happen whether it be misunderstandings or intentional actions that cause concern. Where do you turn?
I don't like bad mouthing vendors via social unless it is truly deserved. However if I can't get matters resolved leveraging all the resources available to me, it's nice to know that the BBB is there.

I was a customer of Denny's for 8 years+ and in the beginning, service was good and responsive but declined considerably to the point I had enough.

When the pump broke down, Denny recommended a lower power single speed 1hp pump as a replacement, the original pump was 1.5 hp. I argued for a more energy efficient variable speed pump but Denny was insistent, the 1 hp pump was energy efficient and had more than enough power and said I would be wasting my money on a more powerful pump. I have been a long time customer of K and D. They are excellent at maintenance and weekly pool cleaning. I can set my clock by when they show up every week. They spend extra time to clean out the leaves in the fall when it's windy. I've also had them replace my pool's heater unit. Dennis is very nice, friendly and knowledgable about pools and their best operation. I would highly recommend these guys to regularly care for your pool property.

Denny and his boys are the coolest guys you'll ever meet the service is great and very knowledgeable been doing it for along time I would recommend these guys in my back yard quality is what there about . Don't take my word for it give them a try

I highly recommend K & D. They are very professional and knowledgable. I called them because my previous pool guys didn't know what he was doing. I uncovered my pool for my kids to swim and it was green. I called K&D and I talked to Denny. He was very nice on the phone and made an appointment for the next morning. Kenny was here first time in the morning cleaning my green pool and filter. He educate me and my husband about my pool, solar, filters, etc. He went above and beyond to make my pool look beautiful. Denny and his team are just wonderful! Dependable and affordable A+ service. Josh is great too! So knowledgeable! My pool always looked wonderful. I never had a problem with them. When something did work properly, they always told me exactly what was going on and made all the necessary repairs. No complaints from these guys! I recently moved to Florida and unfortunately, do not use his services any more. I was a client of his for years. I hope I can find a company as good as his!

K & D Quality is the best Pool Service in the Bay Area. If anyone says different its their loss and there somebody you don't want as a client anyway. Happy Holidays

I don't know what happened to my earlier post on Yelp about K&Q's quality and responsiveness of their service, or lack of, but we were a long time client (since 2001) of K&Ds and after waiting 4 weeks for them to fix a leak in our system, I called another service and they were able to fix it in 2 hours. I'd look for another service.

Can't ask much more of these guys. They show up and do their job dependably and they're a great resource when things go wrong. I bought a house with an old pool and a lot of old broken equipment and K & D basically talked me out of overpaying for big upgrades while getting the pool in great shape very quickly. When I was pricing out solar heat they also connected me with someone that saved me thousands of dollars. Outstanding service, quality of work, reliability, and professionalism. Denny is great, and Josh who does my pool is the best. They are trustworthy, honest, and consistent. I have been with them for seven years and whenever I have an issue I don't get a sell, I get a solution...often a much cheaper solution (I too had a pump issue) than I expected. Recommended them to my neighbor and even got a $50 discount on my bill for a "referral" program I didn't know existed. Talk about honest! These guys are the real deal and I couldn't be happier.

Wow!! Denny and Tim provide the BEST pool service! After 20 years, we've had our share of service providers. They either over charged or under delivered. Not K&D. Their prices are reasonable and they over deliver. In the rare event, the pool isn't perfectly crystal clear, they are back out to fix it and it make it that way. When Denny says he guarantees a crystal clear pool, he means it. THANK YOU!!!

I have been using this company for my pool services for almost 8 years now and I have no complaints what so ever. I think that is a pretty good track record. Joe (who comes every week to my house) is a really nice guy and always makes sure that whatever I need or mention to him is taken care of. Denny (one of the owners, I believe) always double checks to make sure things are dealt with and that I'm happy with the results. The price is totally competetive and has only been raised 2 times since I started with them (not by much either).
Overall, a really trustworthy company.
