The boxes are super sturdy retail shipping crates, and they do an excellent job of protecting your stuff. Not only that, but their customer service is beyond compare. I was supposed to close on a house back in October of last year, and knew I wanted to use BoxSave again as I loved the experience the first time. Long story short due to circumstances out of our control, closing did not happen on schedule, and here we are in February and I am still sitting on these boxes.

We’ve used BoxSave twice now for moving in and around Boston and couldn’t be happier! The customer service is awesome and so is the product! The boxes are super easy to pack and encourage you to unpack your things sooner! You also create so much less waste than typical when moving! Definitely recommend and will use again.

Box Save made our move as smooth as moving can be. The owners of the company were very communicative and responsive to all emails and were incredibly flexible when asking for another week to borrow the boxes after the move. It was so much better to have these reusable boxes versus buying or finding cardboard (our movers also said they were so much easier to move in and out). Highly recommend and would definitely use again!

I will never move without this service again! Not having to deal with packing tape and putting together boxes alone makes it great, but also responsive customer service and easy drop off/pick up. Boxes are sturdy and you don’t have to worry about boxes getting squished or damaged in transit. Plus much more environmentally friendly than using and recycling new boxes immediately!

Absolutely loved using BoxSave with my move! Their drop-off/pick-up was great- took 2 things off my plate during the busy move. The ease of filling, stacking & moving with the dollies made packing a breeze! Our movers also told us how much they loved all our green boxes - saved us time and money, all while being eco-friendly. We had our boxes picked up today and could not have been more impressed with the whole operation. We moved out of the city and had our boxes/furniture in storage for a month. The boxes were super sturdy, clean and held a ton of items (safely). It was great to not have to deal with tape and boxes and so much more environmentally friendly. The company's communication was great and their flexibility with our ever changing move-in date was appreciated. The pickup and drop off process was seamless, and while we hope not to move anytime soon, we will definitely use Box Save again.

I cannot recommend Box Save more highly. Beyond saving me tons of money buying boxes I would have to throw into a landfill days later, they made the move itself so much easier. All of our items were protected with the strong, thick plastic and once things were packed we could go back and see what was in boxes again instead of being restricted by tons of tape. The boxes could be loaded and unloaded so quickly from the moving van (especially key in a pay per hour moving service!) and they came and picked the boxes up exactly on schedule. Excellent service!! Would highly recommend to anyone moving. These bins are great for organizing and stacking in a truck. The price was reasonable, drop off at our old and pick up at our new locations saved us a few trips and actually made this super convenient. Bins came with blank labels to stay organized and also a dolly for easy wheeling from room to room. On top of all that, this saved many cardboard boxes that would have been used once and then recycled immediately after.

Excellent product and service - could not recommend more highly. Paul and Doran went out of their way to be helpful, courteous and professional. The boxes arrived on time, were as clean as could be and are easy to pack, stack and store for moving. I underestimated how many I would need and requested additional boxes; they were delivered quickly and efficiently. I would not choose another service for moving supplies and would certainly call them first in the future. Highly recommend!

Working with BoxSave was absolutely the right choice for our move! They were so friendly and communicative. And moving with reusable crates made our move far more efficient, faster, probably cheaper (given the ridiculous cost of moving boxes), and more environmentally conscious.
One thing I loved: They don't mind if you leave the crates outdoors when you are done with them, so we were able to keep our newly-emptied crates on our backporch so they were out of the way as we finished unpacking.

Loved Box Save! They were right on time if not early with their delivery. They were professional, courteous, and extremely efficient. Our movers were also clearly pleased that we had gone with crates and it made the move very easy. We probably needed to size up one more size than what we used (e.g., 1 bedroom - 25 boxes) but that was because we had too much stuff.

We used Box Save as part of our move from Boston out to the suburbs this Spring. Frankly, I wish these guys had been around for all of the last 10 years, when I moved around the Boston area not infrequently. Their service is super useful - sturdy reusable plastic crates dropped off for you to pack, then picked up weeks later at your new casa. What could be easier? Doran and Paul were very responsive and thorough in communication. We got boxes at the end of Jan (slower season) so they were able to drop boxes off on only a couple of days notice. The drop off was efficient.
The movers were very happy to see moving crates, which by the way, arrived so clean!
Again, since we reserved the boxes in the slow season we had additional time to use the boxes if needed. I scheduled this full time to allow ourselves to unpack at our own speed. However, we unpacked rather quickly and were ready to return the boxes after about 10 days. No problem

Highly recommend using Box Save for anyone with an upcoming move. Doran and Paul were great to work with, always in touch via email or phone and very flexible and accommodating when we needed more boxes and an earlier return pickup.
This made our move so much easier as we didn't have to deal with buying cardboard boxes and packing tape, assembling the boxes, tearing them down and then recycling them. This was easy. Paul drops off 65 boxes (good for 80 to 90 percent of a four bedroom house) with labels and carts. The boxes are clean and easy to pack. The uniform shape makes it easy to load them into a POD or a van. No wasted space and your mover is delighted. No need for cardboard boxes, tape and markers. Nothing gets broken because the Box Save crates do not break or burst open.

Couldn't be happier with my choice to use Box Save. Easy drop off and easy pick up and holy moly did it make our move easier.

You won't regret using BoxSave. I just used them for my move (July 2019) from a 4th floor walk-up in the North End to an apartment in JP and the service was so convenient. From the start, the folks at BoxSave were in communication with me to confirm what day and time they would drop off the boxes, what supplies I would need, and when they'd pick up the boxes. My wife and I have moved twice in two years, first across country, and then again in town. After the first move we were amazed at the cost of cardboard boxes, and the waste. We gave them away, but I doubt they'd get more than one more use. So we tried out box save the second time around, and were really pleased.
