Chimney problems and leaks have become a specialty of Winter Springs Roofing and Repair. Chimneys may be the single largest problem area of any roof. It stands to reason since there is a structure, an exterior, a cover and a base that connect to a roof and in some cases it connects to two or three levels of roof.
Tile repairs have become our specialty through the years. There is a growing demand and a lack of qualified businesses performing this work. Repairs performed on tile roofs in Florida present some of the biggest challenges of all roof problems. I have seen the largest percentage of recurring problems come from inexperienced roofers working on tile roofs.
Winter Springs Roofing and Repair has made the "repair" part of the business our focus since the late 1990s, after spending 17 years installing roofs for builders of new home subdivisions. Winter Springs Roofing and Repair replaced my roof, replaced our skylight (much better than we had), Replaced a facia board I backed into with the motorhome and repaired an area over our pool patio which always leaked badly. 1st rain and not a single drop was seen.
Bill was great to deal with and kept me in the loop, no up selling, no additional cost to what was originally priced. Very professional. Materials were of great quality.
Jeff and his team were the best I have seen, very professional, worked very hard and kept me in the loop also as to what was going on. They had our house stripped

After putting it off for a few years I called Bill Sumner and requested a quote. He came out to the house and gave me the quote, told me the timeline, and then did exactly what they said they were going to do. I was so pleased and proud to see the new roof, I appreciate the hard work, the extra care to detail, and the professional way they do business. Bill, the owner, was completely uninterested to hear about my problem. Several times I had to ask if he was still on the phone because he was unresponsive. He lacked any sympathy to the damages I’ve had to my home and showed an unwillingness to help assess my problems. Extremely rude and I’ll be looking elsewhere. Very surprised at the number of good reviews considering how poorly the owner is at communicating.

WOW! What a great experience. As a business owner myself, the one thing I cannot stand is a lack of professionalism for a craft. In fact, the job I was having done was a fixing of another roofer that botched the job.
I pay well and expect well, but Bill and his crew followed the Disney model of "Exceed expectations" and they did that in big way! I had a tough job for them totally removing a Large Rock Exterior Chimney that had been there for 40 years and was hard as a rock. It was going to have to be totally rebuilt and go with the current exterior. We scheduled it two weeks out to give my wife

Bill & his team are amazing. From the very first time I spoke with Bill,
I could tell he knew what he was talking about. He was very confident & very good at doing it. Our re-roof work was completed in a great manner. The workers were respectful & friendly. Everyday they cleaned up after themselves & left the property in a manner that I was very happy with as I did not have to pick up after them. Bill had an excellent way of keeping communication open. I was informed on everything as needed throughout the entire process. Bill never left me feeling abandoned. I would definitely recommend Winter

Extremely professional from estimate to permit approval. I have worked with a lot of contractors over the years and the customer service that Winter Springs Roofing provided was better than all. The main things were that they were there each day at 7:00 sharp and went right to work. Their equipment was in tip top shape. They were fast courteous and kept the site clean when they had to leave at the end of the day.

After some horrible weather on October 7th in which a waterfall started to pour down from an exhaust vent inside the restroom, I knew that there was something wrong up on the roof that had to be looked at. I did some research and came across Winter Springs Roofing and Repair, in which I spoke to Bill about the problem at hand and since I was so concerned about it he was able to make it out the next day to take a look at it! After looking it over and diagnosing the issue at hand along with others that were observed, it was then a plan to get it replaced instead of repaired which made total sense

Bill and his team are amazing! He repaired our flat top patio roof so that it no longer leaks. They spread a commercial grade product that hardened to a strong shell on the roof of it. In addition he capped off all the rotted fascia and soffit with white aluminum so that it will look great for the years to come. Because the roof was not properly installed, our project required his team to remove and replace the shingles surrounding the patio roof after he installed a wide flashing around the roof to prevent leaks. He matched our shingles perfectly and the roof is beautiful. They did extra trimming
