After a few years, Rose Garcia joined, bringing executive level project management skills and allowing the company to flourish, regularly completing larger projects with a high degree of success. We acquired our first showroom at the SF Design Center, showcasing a myriad of stone types, sizes and colors.
Olle Lundberg's Crull residence in Sonoma offered us the opportunity to import Portuguese limestone for the complete interior floor and exterior paving including pool coping. We pioneered large format textured surface tiles and pavers with and concentrated on limestones, marble and unique stones to offer our clients something different - expanding outdoors and helping their projects be all the more remarkable.This is what sets us apart to this day.
Alex Sajkovic's passion for natural stone grew out of a serendipitous meeting with the sales manager of an Italian-American stone company that was driving the same model FIAT 131 as Alex. Always having been intrigued and stimulated by Italian design it seemed natural to accept a job in stone sales and service that involved driving that FIAT across the Golden Gate Bridge every day - showing beautiful white Carrara marbles and other stones to clients in Marin, Sonoma and Napa counties.

I've been going to Rose and Alex at ASN for over 13 years for my stone needs. A few years ago I completely remodeled my house and and not only went to them for all the internal stone, but found great stone for my patio/yard as well. They have always provided me with the best service and I feel like they really take the time to address my questions and concerns. Do not waste your time with other stone facilities! I am extremely particular, and move at a quick pace when I am searching materials. Rose & her team are the best. The most efficient, customer service driven, and knowledgeable about materials and sourcing. I needed a fair amount of slate at an extremely fast lead time (not a normal lead time was really my request) and Rose pulled it off! She found the material for me in less than a week. She worked extremely hard and fast to meet my demanding needs. Nobody else was able to pull this off!

First off, this is not one of those dusty dirty warehouses or stone yards you often have to visit to see slabs and stones. This is a beautiful, chic, comfortable showroom. The staff is very welcoming.
When I shared my vision of our exterior patios and pathways, Rose instantly understood and brought out samples that were just what I had in mind. She suggested a few interesting patterns for setting the stones which we hadn't considered. She was very knowledgeable about her products and she takes an obvious pride in the stones she offers.

Leah was extremely helpful in our process of finding stone and finding a fabricator and installer. After we were blown off by our fabricator/installer, Leah helped us find a new one and was extremely patient - holding our stone selection for about a month. Never mind that she gave us a great price on a beautiful stone we found nowhere else. ASN should definitely be a stop on your search for stone!

I love Rose and Hollie! They are extremely knowledgeable about there products and services. They gave me the best deal on stone in the 12 years I have been a contractor. I will always come back to them for any project, large or small. You would be a fool to shop anywhere else. I have tried many places in my time and none of them compare to the quality and service that I received from ASN.
