The Metro crew was great from responsive emails at the start to total clean up at the end. I asked them to do grinding on one side of a concrete slab of our front walkway that was a trip hazard. They gave an estimate for that and when they came and finished that, they said they had time to do a few others spots -- all included in the price. They offered this without me asking which I thought was very nice. They were very timely, efficient, and thorough, and friendly.

They're pretty busy and not taking many residential jobs lately. No matter; if they can't take on the work, they'll refer you to someone good who is. They messed up a job at my property and I asked them to make it right. It took us each a while for schedules to match up, but we met and Metro stood by the work of a sloppy employee, paying for the repair work. Wow - not many companies will still do that. I really wanted to work with this company having read so many great reviews. However I am disappointed in contacting this company for a bid, I live in a town home which has a HOA (homeowners association) . The trip hazard bid was for work in the common area. In fairness to the company, I did not walk/meet with the estimator because I already knew what my crack stairs look like, the main reason why I called them. Below is an email I sent to the company.

I can't be more pleased with the way my sidewalk turned out. Metro Concrete was at my house within 3 hours of my first call to Matt, who was very knowledgeable and took me through his estimate thoroughly.
The technician arrived ahead of the planned start time, after receiving a call from him alerting me he would be early. He did a fantastic job grinding down some big ridges and cracks in my sidewalk and it looks great. I'm ready now for Halloween and the fall and winter weather. Thanks Metro Concrete!

Metro Concrete came out and fixed the sidewalk in front of our house. The city required it, and set a short deadline. Metro was able to not only provide a much lower estimate than the city, they had the job done within a week. The set up all permits and took care of everything. The sidewalk looks fantastic.

The new concrete floor (poor job done by other company: Star Concrete) on our front, side and back yard was raised up and kept raising after 6 months and caused trip hazard. I searched a long time and finally found Matt at Metro Concrete who is specialized in grinding down the edge which will save a lot of money than replacing the whole thing.
The team came on time, and fixed the problem within estimated time and more importantly, the budget. They were professional, and cleaned up everything when they left. The surface was even and no more trips. Highly recommended.
