Healthy Indoor Professionals is your best choice in case you have a mold problem in your home. We had a flood in our home this spring and I have been feeling sick in the past few months. We asked Dr. Ava to investigate our home for mold, and the results amazed me. She was very knowledgeable, experienced, patiently answered all our questions and found our home mold problem. Aba was so informative. I called to ask her to schedule an appointment and to find out how much it would cost for someone to come inspect my house for air quality. Instead, she help me trouble shoot over the phone for the few possibilities my air quality is causing my allergic reaction. I just had a new air conditioner installed, new duct work, hepa filter and air scrubber. I discovered the air scrubber irritated my throat and smelled bad. So I had it removed, I continued to have problems which resulted in a ER visit. Aba said it is probably not the 5 inch hepa filter

Very pleased with the service I received from Ava! She was available on short notice, very detail oriented, and kindly explained her whole process and methodology to me so I'd understand where we were testing, how, and why, and give my input. She took her time during the inspection, included me throughout the process, and when she got the lab results she explained them in a very clear and helpful manner along with her personal recommendations. I'm very glad I called this company. Ava was great...very professional, knowledgeable and took a great deal of time explaining the process, what to expect, as well the test results. Throughout, there was no underlying effort to up-sell, and given our mostly, but not entirely, positive lab tests, gave us a DIY solution, not an expensive remediation quote.

Dr. Masoumi is phenomenal! I had been having health issues that began when I moved into a new home, and coupled with my anxiety it was causing me some distress. Dr. Masoumi walked me through my home, showed me and explained to me where mold can and cannot grow and answered all my questions about safe indoor conditions. She is a true expert in that she isn't going to waste your time and money with unnecessary work--she uses her knowledge and equipment (and strong nose!) to pinpoint your issue and only recommends drastic action if absolutely necessary. We had a mold concern and Dr. Masoumi came out on the same day to do a thorough inspection of our property. We had done previous mold tests with another company and the air samples came back "clear." We hired her last year to do some independent mold testing in our apartment. She found things that the company hired by our building management "overlooked". She was thorough, professional and VERY knowledgeable. Her detailed report helped us win a case against our building owners. Ava is incredibly knowledgeable, meticulous in her work and truly caring with her clients. I've been having serious health issues for the past eleven months, and it has been such a mystery what was the cause. Living in the heart of Beverly Hills, you'd think we'd not have this situation but we did. My dog and I got so sick from mold and I had no idea where to go. Health Department won't cite the landlord if it is not visible. Landlord (a doctor) told me it was not unhealthful. We called so many places and heard so many horror stories.

For the last couple of years, my family and I were becoming very suspicious of mold in our house; however, the landlord always refused to acknowledge or investigate the matter. We really didn't know why all of us were having constant allergies, especially when we would be inside of our home (versus being at work or in school).
