Just is very knowledgable about mold and environmental issues and he is personable and honest. He took time to answer all my questions and check everywhere to satisfy my concerns. Ultimately, he concluded we did not have an issue and his expertise and technology gave me peace of mind. He could have done an air test at additional cost but he suggested we not spend the money as it was unlikely to show anything. We highly recommend him to anyone with mold concerns.

Justin runs a far and honest business! I initially contacted his company thinking I had mold in my laundry room. He asked me to send him a few photos then called to tell me it looked more like a water leak. He provided three referrals for water leaks as well. I contacted my home warranty company who sent out a plumber and they validated Justin's assessment that it was in fact a water leak. He could've just took my money and came out for a mold inspection, but he was very transparent and told me what he thought I should do. Very grateful for businesses like his! Thank you Justin!

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to write one in this case. This is a review for work that wasn't even done!
Two days ago, my wife and I discovered a leaking toilet that caused a fair amount of water damage on our floors and walls. Called a plumber, made an insurance claim, got the restoration company out...it's probably a familiar story for a lot of Houston families, at this point.
To our surprise (and dismay), when the restoration company pulled the floorboards off our walls near the source of the leak, they found some mold. They stopped work and recommended I call Justin at HTX

I found HTX online while looking for someone to do a basic mold inspection in my home. Justin initially talked me through the potential issues/concerns in my home over the phone. Then, when he came out to do the inspection, he took his time to walk me through every issue/concern and explain why he was making the recommendation he was making. He really knows his stuff.

We have worked closely with Justin on many jobs over the past couple of years. He is prompt with his communication, thorough with his inspections, and very detailed with his reports. He always follows up with us after inspecting a customers home. It is really hard to find high quality, honest, reliable people in today's world. HIGHLY recommended. Justin came out to inspect a bathroom that I had visible growth in. Being that it was so close to the baby's bedroom I wanted to make sure it was not toxic, and also find the root cause. He asked how many samples I wanted to taken and from where, and explained the whole process to me. Extremely informative.
