The customer service girls that answer the phone are amateurish/unprofessional. I highly recommend
Byum & Son invest in their employees via minimum cost of a 1k soft skills customer service training package, for each employee that answers the phone. It's imperative that Bynum & Son who's contracted with such a large brand " Home Depot" invest in their front line face of the company. The frontline/ face of a company will make or break a company!!....A company can have the worst product and the best service customers will stay loyal because of how you made them feel/ experience..# Business 101

I had to have my water heater replaced. The guys arrived on time, were very professional and let me know what additional items were needed and quoted a reasonable price. I would recommend.

I have to admit it I am a stickler with reading reviews before hiring a company to work on my car or my home. 90% of the bad reviews had to do with Home Depot. My situation was different I hired this company to come out and work on my septic tank due to a back up in one of my bathrooms, when they came out they were very professional they answered all my questions (which was many) Sam walked me through all the steps they were going to take to make sure the backup would be resolved. Have to admit the cost to repair made me gasp a little, but I have done all my research before hand and I knew my

Went to Home Depot to get some help with a hot water heater. No hot water. The salesman was helpful and said because ours was only 7 years old, it might just need a new heating element. But he helped me pick out a new one (50 gal) and set me up with Bynum Plumbing. He said because it was only 10am, they would most likely come that day. He said they would call quickly. After an hour, I called them. First, I was told that it would be 2 weeks before they could come? Then I was told that a 50 gallon wouldn't work and to be "up to codes" we would have to get an 80 gallon tank and it would

They did a thorough and efficient job. Took away my old water heater. Installed the new Water Heater and compression tank and managed the request for the county inspection. It all went very well and as planned. I am very happy with the service I received.

I think Derek did a good job pumping/cleaning my septic tank and I like the fact that he is knowledgeable! They are not cheap, not at all. The $125.00 you pay or sign to pay upfront in order to open the tank is a catch. After they open the tank, they can jack the price up however they want since you have already paid $125.00. Good work is not cheap. If you're willing to pay $125.00 upfront, I recommend this company/Derek.

Great guys for septic. Had an emergency with water backing up into the house. They came out and found the issue where a tree's roots were blocking the line that leads out to the yard.

Ask for Frantz. What Excellent Workmanship, Efficiency and Service.

Frantz arrived in a timely fashion, as promised. I had 2 toilets installed and the old ones hauled away at a fair, competitive price and in a very timely manner.

I received Extreme Value for the money that I spent. I am so happy on every level. The Lions Share of KUDOS goes to Master Plumber, Frantz.

Thank you ever so much for this excellent experience and YES, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Bynum & Sons Plumbing because of this!

Horrible service. Their plumber came out and incorrectly installed the garbage disposal, where it leaked continuously under the sink. Their second plumber came out and he was amazed at how shotty the work was and fixed it.

Their Manager refused to even apologize to me, even when I asked for one, by simply repeating that the issue was resolved.

Unbelievable. I asked her if this is how they treat their customers, and she hung up on me. Obviously, I will never use them again.

We bought a sink, faucet, and drain from Home Depot.

We were told if we prepaid, the plumbing company would be out sooner. Bynam & Sons Plumbing came out to install the sink. The whole interaction was bad from the start.

He came in the door complaining about how he went to the wrong address almost like he was trying to blame me although he had the correct address. He typed in road instead of drive.

He saw the sink we bought and immediately started taking about how it wasn't measured right and the sink may not fit. I measured that sink correctly, but he kept pushing that it wasn&apos

Despite some bad older reviews, I found them to be very professional. They were on time. The price quoted was what the charged. They even gave me a $25 discount. They hauled the old water heater off at no extra cost and cleaned up the work site. All that's left is the inspection in a month. They changed nothing since the last inspection, plumbing wise, so I do not anticipate any problems.

I was in need of septic help and called Bynum and sons unlike the other 4 companies someone actually answered the phone in person and set up a diagnostic appointment for the next day. Detek and Thomas showed up on time and immediately started working they assessed my situation cleared my clog and were on there way. Derek was very knowledgeable and told me exactly what he needed to do and after jetting inflow pipe a good flow was accomplished. I still have work that will need to be addressed in the future and I know who I will call to geter done thanks guys

I wish I would have read all of these comments before going to Home Depot. The home Depot associate told me a new water heater and install would run about $1k. When Bynum called they quoted $1368. I figured it was ok since it included the haul away. When tech arrived he found that we needed an additional part that would cost $350. When it was time to pay the total cost was almost $1900. Almost double what the Home Depot associate told me was the ball park. I will never work with Bynum or Home Depot again. The water heater price was about $600 so they take away $1300 for installation which is

I'm a little surprised at the reviews on here, but then again since they seem to be mostly related to home depot contracted services I'm not. I contacted Bynum directly on NYE to schedule a septic pump out. They offered me a morning or afternoon option. I was told what the cost would be up front for a basic pump out and dig out to get to my tank lid. Derek and Zach showed up within the time scheduled. They were friendly and informative along the way. They discovered some other issues with my system but since it's from the 80's I wasn't at all surprised that I might have

Unfortunately, my story is similar to other yelpers's -this company was scheduled through Home Depot during a new counter top installation. They were supposed to unhook an old kitchen sink and insinkerator and return 48 hours later to install the new sink, faucet, and insinkerator that we had already purchased-a seemingly simple job! Although we had already PREPAID Home Depot for the equipment AND services, and had never had a problem with the plumbing in the kitchen- after the sink was unhooked, the company workmen insisted that additional work had to be done for an ADDITIONAL $300 CHARGE

They were prompt and arrived at the set time, but the cost was outrageous. We called to set the appointment and we asked for an estimate and we were clear our septic tank was full. No need to say that once they got to our house the price surprisedly had doubled.
No complaints about the service, but definitely paying almost $1000 to have my septic tank pumped was extremely high.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD WITH A CONTRACTOR

I've been in construction and renovations for over 30 years and had the worst customer service experience from Bynum Plumbing ever. Home Depot should be ashamed of using this company as their installer/representative. The person I spoke to said her name was Audrey, and she was completely unhelpful. I went to Homeadvisor.com and immediately hired a very pleasant company to do the same work for a much lower price.

Terrible Experience- We had hardwood floors installed through Home Depot and Bynum were the contractor for the disconnect and reconnect
Of the toilet and pedestal sink in downstairs bathroom. This toilet never had a leak anywhere before this process. After they reinstalled our toilet we were told to wait 24 hours before flushing toilet or using sink. We waited 48hrs and after using the toilet for 2 days I noticed a small amount of water that is accumulating on the floor. I called Home Depot and they said they would send the plumbers back out. Waited three business days and never received a call

I was a little skeptical after reading some of these reviews, most of them concerned plumbing/Home Depot/Lowes customers and installation of water heaters, etc.
I had them install a septic tank baffle after being quoted prices 40-50% higher. My tech, Eric, was on time, very friendly and most important knowledgeable on my situation. I have to tell ya I was a little worried initially but Eric put me at ease. Very satisfied with his work and the price i paid.
