After years of high quality custom remodel projects, Design Doctors earned the opportunity to construct our first complete custom home from the ground up. From 2015-2016 we worked diligently through the challenges of this new adventure in building. In May of 2016 we handed over the keys to our first custom home, which we felt was our greatest accomplishment yet.
As of 2016, Justin Ross, the Owner of Design Doctors Construction is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist. Abbreviated "CAPS", this certification proves we are qualified and capable to design and implement modifications necessary for you to safely Age in Place. We want to help you live in your home comfortably, safely, and independently for years to come, regardless of age or ability level!

I work with Justin and his crew as a photographer on projects and I often hear customers raving about their work. Design Doctors are also design wizards. They were able to synthesis my months of research, exacting needs and limited budget into a workshop/studio that has a WOW factor of 10. This project started with a shed core, then included reframing new windows and doors for structural integrity, updating all internal systems, a raised floor for a wet room area, a method of sediment collection, a heat resistant area, all within a tight blueprint for 288 sq. ft. The Design Doctors team is specifically trained in design solutions for aging in place and for the disabled. We needed to have wheelchair ramps installed from our garage and from our patio into our home, as well as grab bars installed in our bathrooms. Justin and his team worked with us to carefully determine what would make moving around our new home in my power chair very easy for me. They installed smart locks and new dual shower heads with handheld shower heads at the appropriate height for me—and a number of other tasks that helped make our home more comfortable. Wow! Just WOW!! I was fortunate enough to choose Design Doctors for home renovation work, on two separate projects.
