Soon after becoming an apprentice in the HVAC Industry, I knew that this was the type of work for my lifestyle. No time clock, traveling to different jobsites, working with my hands and being challenged. I was a hard worker, enthusiastic, enjoyed learning the trade and soon became a valued journeyman.

Requested a call to discuss a project over 2 weeks ago and have yet to get a response. Would at least expect a call even if it was to inform me they were unable to assist. To completely ignore a potential client and referral is just rude.. It's about being professional and courteous as a business should always be.

I called a few days ago and set up an appointment for July 6 between 10:00 am and 11:00 to get my A/C up and running. They called today, Thursday July 1, after 6:00 PM, and say they can't come out for at least TWO WEEKS? Thanks so much Hurley Air Conditioning for this last minute notice. I am so busy tomorrow, there is no way I can start calling other people. Why did they wait two full days and call after 6:00 PM to tell me they don't have time to come? How can they be that screwed up with their schedule? I would never recommend this company to anyone. You can't trust them

I got referred to this company by my co-worker. Reached out and got an estimate for our AC replacement. We were weighing our options and reached out to the owner Chris via call, text and email for a few questions/clarifications about the estimate. He said he would call me back and NEVER did. The interior fans were working, but no cool/hot air was coming out of my vents. I put off the fix for a long time bc several companies have quoted $1k+, but the recent heat was unbearable and I was willing to pay any cost for some cool air. I first emailed, then called later in the evening and by the morning, I received a reply from Chris. He requested text and when I did, I got a call within 2 minutes. No joke. Chris is a rare type of contractor: passionate about his work, returns calls, shows up when he says, and fair In price. We had him install a new system as well as a ductless system and both installs were seamless. My central AC stopped blowing cold so I called Hurley Air Conditioning off of their Yelp ad. When owner/operator Chris Hurley showed up he drove right past my house, parked, and started walking to the front door an incorrect house three doors down the street from mine. Just a bit confused I guess. I flagged him down and he seemed to have a weird attitude. The first words out of his mouth was "I'm not even going to charge you for the estimate". Anyway, after figuring out that my AC probably had a leak his wonderful solution was that he should sell me a whole shiny new air conditioner

Chris Hurley successfully diagnosed and repaired my clogged AC drain line. He diagnosed the problem in a fast and an efficient manner. He communicated the issue and solution very clearly. Hurley Air installed my hvac unit 14 years ago. My unit was not getting cold and Chris Hurley was able to come and quickly identify the bad component and had a spare on his truck. He had me up and repaired within an hour. Thanks for the great communication and fitting me in so quick. You guys are the best!

Great Family run business. AC wasn't blowing cold air during the hottest week of the year. Called several other places but could not get any service for days. Called Hurley and after a couple of quick calls back to us they were able to squeeze us after the last call here in Orange. Showed up on time; diagnosed quickly (new capacitor needed); thorough (he was concerned about a leak so checked because the air did not seem to be cooling fast); reasonable rate. After 3 days of 98 degrees inside, we are please with the outcome 79 degrees and dropping...Thank you!

My Mother-in-Law had her air conditioner stop working. On the hottest weekend of the year. With temperatures above 110 degrees, almost all 20 of the local A/C repair companies I called were swamped and completely booked two weeks out.

Chris is as awesome as everyone's reviews. I don't know what happened with the one-star review about Chris's responsiveness. My experience is that he responded to me during the month of December. He took on a very complex, 29 yrs old unit, and made the effort to locate the circuit board for it. Then he was responsive about setting up a date/time to do the project. He came out and spent over 4 hrs, hustled up and down the attic where the unit was at and only charged us for parts and 2.5hrs. This guy is GOOD!

We had Chris come out to provide an estimate to install the A/C in our new construction in Costa Mesa. His informative and friendly demeanor combined with a competitive estimate sold us, and we scheduled the install for the following Saturday (bonus for Saturday installs!). Chris and his helper (Cody?) showed up on time, worked diligently, and did a great job of addressing our questions and concerns. They finished earlier than expected and took the time to help us understand how to get the most out of our 2-unit system. Before speaking to Chris, other contractors were dishonest and gave me a ridiculous price! Chris provides honest pricing and what actually needs to be done to fix your HVAC. I needed a brand new HVAC and thought it would take all day. I was wrong! Chris showed up at 7am and finished all in just 3 hours also installing two smart thermostats and serviced the condenser. He then serviced my two neighbors house the same day and provided competitive pricing! He is very professional and I will not be seeking anyone else to touch my HVAC system except for Chris.

Customer service is their middle name. I had my heater air conditioning unit completely replaced. Prior to his installation I advised of one south facing room that never seemed to cool down. He made some suggestions and installed an inline booster fan which solved my problem. I even had the ducting replaced at a later service. His price is competitive and he stands behind his work. He freely explains great details as to what he is doing and why.

I first met the owner Chris Hurley 3 yrs ago when spotted his truck working at a neighbors installing air conditioner. I asked for a free estimate on heater and a/c repairs. He was very kind, soon arrived and gave me an estimate one fifth the price of a prior estimate. I was skeptical until speaking with him and it was clear he's an honest man takes pride in his workmanship. He came back a day later with his polite helper and fixed several things cost me about $200.
