After an electrical issue caused by Avista, we were left without AC for a few days (not ideal during a heatwave in July). Our property manager contacted Barton Boys immediately. When Vern arrived he was able to assess the situation, fix the AC and had us back up and running before lunch. Thank you so much, Vern! We will absolutely use The Barton Boys again for future HVAC needs.

Angel, Brandon and Andrew were very sweet and helped me last minute on a Friday to replace the capacitor on my ac unit. I was connected to them through Fidelity Home Warranty (who don't consider two days of 104⁰ to be an emergency when your ac is not working) and even though Fidelity didn't treat my problem with any urgency, Angel made sure that I got the help I needed with only a few hours notice. Thanks, guys!

Worst customer service we have ever experienced. Waited for MONTHS for answers to our questions, sent them constant reminders with no replies. Frankly, we cannot believe this company is even in business with such poor performance. We suspect most online "reviews" are entirely bogus. We were ready to install a $20,000 furnace system but not with these clowns. Communication is absolutely TERRIBLE. God forbid anyone would need "service" if you dared give them any money. They appear to only be interested in getting quick and easy jobs and not addressing HVAC concerns or critical design issues. Unprofessional

They came out to replace the motor for our gas stove insert. After the repairman presented the bill we were shocked at the amount. The motor was over $400 and the labor charged was over $400. He was there for all of 30 minutes from start to driving away. Apparently they charge the moment they leave their facility. We had no idea!! Never was this discussed. We would not have agreed to that because it’s so ambiguous! Also, we were never told ahead of time how much the motor cost. They installed it and told me the price after the fact. STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!!!!! Called them was having some problems with our furnace in 2018. They were late for their appointment and I had to go to work. They proceeded to send me a bill for $150. When I called and explain that the bill must be a mistake they very rudely told me that they charge a fee for showing up when I explained that the appointment time had passed and they were late they hung up the phone. Still fighting with them and the credit bureaus to remove this fraudulent charge from my credit report. The next day a different company came out and change the fuse charged me $25. I am sure

From the first moment the Barton Boys came to do an estimate to the finished job, the experience was professional and virtually painless. The installers took the time to explain the new heating system, the new thermostat and how to work it. They went far beyond what I expected and proved once again that the Barton Boys company is A+++. They put in my first furnace and water heater in 1992, and during those intervening 28 years they gave me the best service possible. They are the best!
