For 10 years, Bruce Emerson worked as a union carpenter. Then in 1992, Bruce was inspired by his uncle who worked in the window business, to start his own company, BWE Construction. He saw a need for windows needing replacement in many older apartment buildings. He took on a partner, his friend and childhood neighbor, Ed Bennek, and over the next couple of years they began to grow the business through referrals and word of mouth.

My family used BWE Construction to replace our kitchen sliding glass door. Bruce explained to us what caused the rotting on our homes original sliding door, he explained the process of installing a new one that would be sure to last for years to come. The sliding glass door turned out beautifully, we couldn't be happier! We loved working with BWE, they are a locally owned company that truly care about the costumers and provide quality products.

BWE did several new windows for us after a storm last summer and also put on a maintence free deck for us. We are beyond pleased with our windows and deck. They were honest about pricing, always answered our questions in a timely manner, and completed the job on time. The crew was very neat and friendly. We will use BWE again for sure!
