When I first contacted Scott on the afternoon of June 28th, he was friendly and initially responsive. I needed the A/C diagnosed (and repaired) soon since I was in the process of selling my home. He stated he would try and stop by to diagnose the issue that evening. Late that evening he texted me letting me know he would stop by the next evening (June 29th). Cool - not a problem, I thought. I never received a call or text on June 29th and so I called that evening and left a voicemail to ask if he was able to diagnose the A/C, but he did not get back to me that evening. So I had my unit replaced because it got damaged by a tree branch that fell over. I called around to get a couple of different quotes and this guy was the cheapest.
He did an amazing job, answered all of my questions and gave me more info on a 14 vs. 16 Seer for energy efficiency. I've had my unit for about 4 months and it runs great no issues.
I've recommended him to a few coworkers. I definitely will be calling him again for future services.

Our A/C took a dive on the hottest day last week. I called around based on Yelp searches and Scott was able to get here within 30 minutes. He fixed the issue quickly and after my prompting sent me quote for a whole new system. (We'd been interested for awhile.). Quote was good. He was respectful, informative, and ready to get us set up fast with a new system. Fast forward one week and new system is installed. After having 2 other HVAC installers giving me a sales pitch and high estimates, Scott came over, sized the job and gave me the lowest price matching the same units the other companies offered.
Install was within days and Scott brings a helper and does the installation himself. Took all day but they finished, cleaned up everything and tested the unit.

Scott is friendly, very professional and gives great prices! He came out right away to look at our A/C unit. It turned out to be an easy fix but he quoted us an awesome deal on a new A/C unit with installation for a future project. When we are ready for the new unit I am definitely calling him to do the job.

A couple days ago I noticed the A/C at our business stopped working so I looked over to find the thermostat screen went blank. Figured it’s not getting power somehow but I’m no expert so I called around. We recently bought a house that did not have heating or air. Our realtor recommended Hvacrmedic. The owner Scott came out to our home and inspected everything and answered all our questions. Anyone looking for an honest HVAC person, look no further. Scott is your guy. I have a rental home in Modesto and tenant stated the AC was not blowing cold air. I had one guy that came and said the motor needs to be replaced but never came back with the quote. I had another guy came and said I need a new unit. Our newly installed furnace kept blowing a fuse, and the original installer failed to solve the problem after a couple of tries. Despite being the busy season, Scott drove 3 hours to my home and instantly diagnosed and solved the problem, which was a situation where the thermostat wires were shorting. I would highly recommend this company.. Woke to my heater blowing cold air, not good when you have a newborn in the house. Sent a message out on yelp and Scott answered the call immediately.. was out to my house within 30 min diagnosed our problem and possibly saved our lives. He let us know or heater was leaking carbon monoxide, we had no idea, being that we are renters he was very patient with the texts and phone calls going back and forth, he gave a good quote and finished the work on time was funny and courteous during. Scott, is the owner of the company and he as honest as they come. Like old fashion true to their word with a simple handshake. He is truly knowledgeable in field and took care of the HVAC needs after I had another company come out numerous times to and take hundreds of dollars out of my pocket.

This company HVAC/R Medic is the definition of great customer service. Scott came out to my house late at night, showed up about 15 minutes after i called, when our heater stopped working, he fix the problem in just a couple of minutes. He also installed some nest thermostats (2) and smoke detectors (2) the following day. Only took him about 15-20 minutes to install everything. Overall great work, professional, fast, reliable. everything i was looking for.

I can't say enough good things about Scott and the work his company does. He was super responsive and got us on his schedule immediately. Our A/C was out and with temps over 105...we were obviously worried. There was no need to stress- Scott fixed the problem quickly and his prices were incredibly reasonable. Beyond that- he is a friendly, nice guy! I recommend him and his team 100%. I also plan on using him in the future as needed.
